Can't get higher than 3066Mhz unfortunately. Looks like I chose the wrong pack than the one you tested anyway 8Pack, looks like you used the UD4-3200 rather than UD4-3600.

Yup, no-go unfortunately. I'll look to try and swap it back for the 3200.
I am testing 8PAck 3600mhz now with MSI Carbon X370?? 2x8gb Set profile 1 from AMP and it goes straight in C16 3333mhz on my rig. Just running mem test now. All I did was set AMP profile one and set Vram voltage to 1.45v then zero issues. Will post screens after running mem test for a while.

MSI Carbon 3600mhz 8Pack kit 2x8gb sticks 3200mhz C14

Are you on the same bios as me?? I am beginning to think your CPU CACHE or IMC potential is really bad as I am having no issues at all here on that board with 2x8gb configuration 3600mhz 8Pack Dark Pro

Just bought Ryzen 1500X and pairing it with a gigabyte B350 motherboard. Could anyone suggest what RAM i should buy? Unsure on RAM speed that would be best. Unsure on numbers etc.

Apologies first build. Was going to start a thread but thought it best to ask here.

Thanks for testing. Certainly looks that way. Same BIOS, exactly the same settings through timings, voltage and speed. Complete failure to boot at anything above 3066, nothing stable above 2933. :(

Crappy chip on my part? :S

Have you tried different timings or just DOCP?

These are my settings(on the right) for 3200 with 8 pack ram. 1.4v(or 1.45 forget), 1v soc.

Got g Skill 3600c17 kit stable at 3466, 14-14-14-28 1T, tRC 44 and tRFC 275 with new gigabyte BIOS today. Super tight timings and very quick! 1000% HCI stable.

From experience HCI memtest needs at least 400% and preferably more. I failed a lot at 200-300% today either errors or restarts. 200% is not enough.

Remember IMC is very sensitive to SOC voltage. Try every setting between 1.1 and 1.15 when testing. Voltage too high is as bad as too low.

Do you think a system rebooting before bios a few times then starting at a lower speed is a sign of low voltage?
