Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Nice seats, think they'd be a bit tight for me mind :D :(

Getting harnesses too or what? And what mounting rails?

So is it just G2L that have these on super cheap? I was at Thruxton today and there were 4 new ST-2s within 20m of each other in the car park. And I'm seeing them all over the place on the road?

Will the Ford forecourts be full of 2 year old ex lease ST-2s in a couple of years? They are quite litterally everywhere.

Going to be going for matching black Sparco 4-point harnesses, unsure about the rails yet as the seats were an impulse buy, need to see what ones others are running :)

Mad looking seats :D

Cheers Will, I don't think it's a car worth spending loads on to extract 20BHP so I think I'll try and get a custom map or a Dreamscience unit second hand and have a play about. Easier to buy another quicker car to start with, love how the little thing drives though!

Meh, that's a bad 'un, unlucky man :(

Bet you can't wait to get those seats fitted Shaun!:D

Removing rear seats is something I've considered but as it's my daily it could make the cabin really loud. The lass I'm seeing hates how loud my car is without the seats removed:p

Did a detail yesterday which took about 4 hours then took some photos.

Silver is a nightmare to work with to get a shine from in my experience.

Seeing the mk7 ST's everywhere now, lovely little motors! Blue is the best colour for them hands down! (same with pretty much any car though to be fair :p)

1 year and 12.4K miles on (first service on Friday) I (we) absolutely love it!

Massive fun and Fiesta running costs -will know service costs at the end of the week.

Not much more to say really as it has been a stellar little motor.

I'm sort of half tempted by one, although I have been half tempted by lots of things and I'm still driving an old Focus.

I'd never be able to fully enjoy a Focus ST/Megane RS etc where I live so I may as well dispense with the extra running costs and extra bulk. 200bhp is more than enough for me.

Boring question, what MPG are you averaging?

Between 35 and 40 with mixed driving. Motorway runs will easily achieve over 40mpg as long as you don't have lead feet.

Tax is relatively cheap at £125 and insurance for us (both 27, 6 years NCB, all the usual things) is under £300. Tyres are around £120 per corner and servicing should be reasonable (I will confirm this after Friday).

been looking at Fiesta ST's and Focus ST's over the last few days and really liking the look of them, both the previous generation and the new gen. Hopefully be able to afford one within 2 years max.

More picturesssss :)

All in

Really pleased with them, they fit me perfectly and I can't believe the weight difference between these and standards, can pick these seats up with one finger :D

Roll on Blyton in May!

Looks good Shaun, liking those! Harnesses on a daily though, mad man :p Stripped out rear? Did it make much difference performance wise?

I still need go have a proper drive of the MK7 ST, makes sense to get one of those next, cheap running costs are a huge bonus :)

If you can live with the noise then it makes a fantastic difference to the drive (Thankfully I can live without much comfort since I rarely do long trips), the cornering difference is the most noticeable though. You just have to be careful because you can find the rear trying to overtake if you aren't carefule due to the weight balance being off, I've noticed quite a difference with the new seats since it's removed a lot of weight from toward the front of the car now :)

guys is the st3 worth the extra over the st2?

its essentially a st2 with extras included as standard (apart from style pack and parking sensors)

or would a st2 with style pack suffice toys/kit wise?
