If you want the extras the ST3 has then yes. IIRC it is cheaper to buy the ST3 than it is to buy a ST2 with the extras as options.

For my I don't particularly care about the extras so I would still buy a ST2.

Quick update on mine. It was serviced on Friday at a cost of £125 inclusive of VAT. This looks to be a relatively standard charge so I would assume this would be the same for most people.

Given the quote I got for the Mountune MP215 kit - £850 - I will looking at going for a Bluefin remap & cat back exhaust.

The blue is odd. Like the ST220s its by far the most popular colour, yet looks like it's going to hold its price premium into the second hand market. It sort of breaks the rules of supply/demand :p.

Such a nice colour with the dark wheels and red calipers.
 
I think the new ST could gave done with an outrageous colour really. I would have loved to see it in something like yellow or similar.

The styling is just about aggressive enough to pull it off.

Admittedly though, seeing killerUKs blue ST every morning does serve as a reminder that blue just works on quick fords.
 
Finally had a proper blast in an ST2 Ecoboost, very nice little motors, planted at speed, spot on ride/firmness for me, good handling, brill brakes, zero lag (ruins the fun lol). I can imagine with more power how great these would be. Steering is a bit light but... new car trait.

I see Pumaspeed are doing kits for up to 270BHP now! I quite fancy one of these next, be happy with around 230BHP and keep it reliable :)

Only thing I really hate about these cars is how RUBBISH they sound with an aftermarket exhaust. Shame!
