You can get a brand new one for give or take 16k with a 5 year warranty via drivethedeal
I'm sure an ST3 will be more than 16k but three thousand pounds is still three thousand pounds, which I can spend elsewhere; and I've not kept a car for more than a year as of late so I don't want to commit to too much and then get itchy feet

After 10 very happy years of owning my Fabia VRS i'm finally giving in and buying a new car - going for a Fiesta ST2 in white with style pack, got garage to match the drive the deal price and getting a decent trade in on my VRS so pretty happy overall.
Any advice, or things i should look at adding before i go to order it this afternoon? Am getting cruise control as had it on my VRS and can't do without it now.
Does anyone know if there are any differences in the radio/speakers setup from the ST2 to the ST3? I keep finding conflicting info, some say the ST2 has 6 speakers some say 8...important when listening to planet rock on the new DAB radio!

According to my brochure, both the ST 2 and ST3 have 8 speakers as standard. The only difference between the two ("infotainment" wise) are that the ST3 has NAV and a bigger display.
The Brochure is from earlier this year (printed Jan 2015) , before I bought mine but I can't see why they would have changed it.
The ST1 definitely only has 6 speakers and a rubbish non Sony audio set up as standard.
Oooh, not bothered about the navigation, but how much bigger?
ST2 is 4.2 inch and the ST3 is 5 inch. Might be higher resolution as well but not sure about that.
TBH built in satnavs can be a pain sometimes and are expensive to update. I bought my ST-2 without one. Much easier to update my Garmin for free via my PC
But anyway, dispite there being loads of STs around they seem to be holding their value quite well.

Dunno about lollipop (but assume it would be no different, i just haven't updated my phone in a while) but yes my Galaxy S5 plays music over bluetooth, syncs with the phone, emergency assistance, text reading etc stuff all flawlessly.
Music on a USB stick is best though as you can literally just say the song, album or artist you want it to play and it will play it (it uses the music id tags).

Ah Ok, I like that idea...save me some battery on my phone too if I don't have to have bluetooth on. Thanks for your help, I ordered it today hopefully ready by Jan. Very excited. Any tips or other things I should be aware of, anything I should check?

If you wanted to you could powdercoat them for around £25 a wheel IIRC - not sure wheres good in Surrey but a place called Wheel Works in Crawley did mine on my previous car with no issues. I removed my wheels and delivered them to the place for a quick appointment - booking your car in I believe you may have to pre-book with a longer wait.
