Definately get one of the Mountune upgrades
Was looking at these the other day, think I'll look at doing it when it's a year or two old to refresh the big smile on my face! And allow my bank balance to recover!

Picked up my new ST on Friday and I'm loving it. It arrived two weeks earlier than expected so I'll be running two cars for a while (my Alfa 156 GTA needs a part that Alfa no longer make so it could be a while). I went for an ST3 in spirit blue, decided to go new as my local Ford Dealer was close to matching the best price I got through carwow/Broadspeed and the pcp deal was affordable. Luckily there was a car in the spec I wanted (ST3, spirit blue, style pack) already built so it's taken less than 3 weeks from ordering to delivery. ST3's seem to be holding their value well and whilst I could have saved a couple of grand buying second hand and financing it with a bank loan I decided I was happy to pay a small premium for a new car. Chances are I'll trade it in and buy a Focus RS after 3 years anyway

Definately get one of the Mountune upgrades
I'm looking forward to when they release the pack for the RS, assuming it's still warranty friendly and not too much then it's going to make it even more of a weapon.
Dealer e-mailed saturday to say my ST-3 should be ready for collection in around 2 weeks.
Will be getting it mountuned in the spring as a birthday present to myself. Want some exterior bling done by Stoneachre York so as I have not visited that part of england yet I will take a week holiday and drive up from southampton to have the MP215 and other bits a bobs fitted and then spend the rest of the week touring the lake district.

Had my ST for just over a week now, here are a few rubbish pics:
other colours like black etc just blend in with the sea of PoV spec Fezza's on the road.I've got my Focus up for sale now so one of these is next Mind made up. Although I may get a winter nail to see me through until March/April as I'd hate to have something near new and anything happen due to snow! But hoping to get a 1 year old car on about 5k miles for 13k, should be doable I think

Anyways, got in my car after work to drive home and radio came on as normal but rather than displaying the station name such as "Radio 1" it just displayed the frequency instead.
I could not for the life of me figure out how to get it back to how it used to be? Was fine before I got out the car for work this morning.
Also the 'text' option (3rd button) that you could click to find out what song is playing etc has now disappeared and the 'text' message has been removed and clicking the button does nothing. .... if that makes sense, referring to the 4 buttons you can press along the bottom of the radio console to the corresponding option on the screen.

My '05 Fiesta ST rearmost hanger has just rusted through on my drive home today.
I'm not going to be able to get it to a garage for at least a couple days, I can see the bit the hanger would go through so was going to try a bodge repair, I've not got wire just some cord (5 or 6 mm accessory cord from climbing) do back boxes get particularly hot, enough to melt cord that is?

it shouldn't get too hot. Even a strong cable tie would do.
The realisation of having a big house deposit in my hand now the Focus has sold is showing true, so I don't know what to do! Haha My close friend is getting his brand new one on 16th so I can spend some proper time with one!
