Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Just got a call from the dealer who's supplying my car through DTD. Turns out they are very local to me (15 miles) which is a result! 5 week delivery time too. Best start preparing to sell my car. :)

Quick pic to show the difference between the old and new style pack wheels. Not denying the new ones look good but I much prefer the lighter grey.

Oh yes, not a fan of that new colour! I didn't even want the rado grey ones but wanted the painted calipers and illuminated scuff plates.

I am really not a fan of dark wheels. I would have liked the normal alloy colour along with red calipers and the scuff plates but that was a no go.

Edit, although could it just be the light?

Mine for example looking very different depending on the light (although they might be dirty in the first pic, i can't remember) -

Same as me, I can cope with Rado Grey but I know I would be disappointed with the dark colour. Will be getting the calipers painted by a local detailer shortly after pickup. Can live without the light up scuff plates :D

Edit* Thats quite a difference depending on the light! Second picture is
I popped into ford yesterday and compared old and new just to be sure. They really are that dark lol. Can see by looking back at scoobyrichuk's post #3266

Not too sure actually, Ive seen 15 plates with both. I think you have two of each!

haha :p.

They really do look different depending on the light/ photo. They look quite light sometimes and others quite dark.

Just been doing some reading and it appears it might be pot luck what wheels you got on early 15 plates.

God I hate that 2nd pic of yours Jono!!!! Makes me want one and I'm trying so hard not to go there haha. House house house....... argh :D

I wouldn't be too fussed either way personally ref wheel colour as both look very nice when polished up and sealed although I do agree the earlier wheels lighter shade is a bit classier looking.

Got my ST booked in for the MP215 upgrade near the end of March. Getting it done on insurance renewal day so don't have to faff about paying admin fees to change the car etc. Managed to get a local dealer down to £638 all in + Mountune are doing £50 cashback till the end of March so that's good.

Looking forward to it. Did everyone who has had it done really notice the difference?
