Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

still no sync2 or 3.

the US version has had it for a couple of years. why is the UK being screwed?

i'd also like a good quality DSG. but, meh. Ill wait until mk8

I wonder how much it will be? It seems to hardly offer much over an mp215 standard ST. That colour and 200 badge look awful.

I really thought if they were going to do one of these they would put an lsd in it.

Also, there are only 500 being made so I bet you wont get a discount on one either like you can with the normal ST's.

I guess if someone wants one they should go and put a deposit on one now!

CarMagazine are saying £21k and production starts in June. Whether or not those facts are substantiated or not I don't know.

You can get an ST3 fully kitted out with the Mountune 215 for less than £18k can't you? This special edition hardly seems worth it.

Reminds me of the RS Clio Raider that Renault released at the end of the life cycle.

You can get a fully kitted out ST3 for near £16k and the mountune kit is only ~£600 on top of that! So you are talking a near £5k difference for that 200 badge and some silver stitching in the seatbelts!
 
I wish the colour was a bit more special. It's Primer Grey...

Confusion with the badging. ST200 gives the impression of 200ps but it's 215ps with overboost. I know they can't advertise it as so because it's an overboost function but seems like they're selling it short. Should have just followed the number of cars they're going to run like ST500...that's if it's a limited model.

Indeed. Milky beige/grey doesn't really cut it.

Also, I guess this might mean no Fiesta RS in the current shape. I have heard rumours there will be an ST and RS for the new shape Fiesta.
 
I guess Ford know they will still sell every single one of the 500 at full RRP so they may as well just use the primer as the main colour to save some cash :p
 
What an awful colour on the ST200 :eek: looks a great car though 0-60 in 6.1 seconds imagine what it's capable of with proper tuning and mods :eek:
 
ST200 seems a bit meh considering what they could have done (they will sell regardless)

I was hoping for MR230 levels of power with perhaps even a modified Revo Knuckle like front axle (or at least a LSD if the RN isn't possible).

Essentially it is just a MP215 with tweaks to the suspension which no one is going to notice unless you drive them back to back in identical conditions.

I love the Fiesta ST (Wish I hadn't moved to the Focus after 18 months of ownership) but considering how good the base car is this could have been Focus RS levels of epic (maybe that is why it is what it is?).
