Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

No idea mate, I would think so, but as usual there are 1000's of cars, I checked mine after finding a youtube video about it and just checked again and it came up.

Good video but interested in the tune-ability. For very little you can get 240bhp on the Mk7.5 ST which would leave the new version for dead.

Fitted some lowering springs on the weekend really happy with the results.

A little before and after.

It may be faster but i'd still pick the older version, I just can't forgive the b(oring)-max styling of the back end, Plus I reckon it'll be a bit more of a closer race if they used the ST200 and not the regular car.

My wife's got a C-Max with the 1.6 ecoboost engine. Seem to emit quite a bit of smoke on start up for about 2-3 seconds, then seems to run perfectly fine.

Anyone else have this on there ST's? wondered with it being the same engine might be a good place to ask.

Which springs did you fit? Looks great, well done. How does it drive day to day?

H&r 35mm. Literally no difference if anything softer on standard roads if you hit a pot hole you still feel it bottom out and thud just like standard springs. Not had many speed bumps to go over yet but thrilled with them. Still need more drive time to see if handling and cornering is improved.

Totally irrelevant because even the thumbnail for that video puts me off the new one, it just looks awful.
In regards to that vid Obviously it depends on the driver but can’t see the new ST that is 0.2 secs quicker to 60 being that much quicker like it is in the vid. Am I right in thinking they have launch control on the new model which may have helped?
Yes I agree the new ST doesn’t look very good. My local Ford dealers had one in the exact same colour last week promoting it just looks bland. Is the old performance blue not available on the new model? All the press and launch pics seem to be in that naff aqua blue looking colour

Not showing for me 14 plate. That said ive seen photos before and after the recall and my coolant bottle etc is in the new position so don't think mine is due.

It'd have been a bit slower if it'd got a full fuel tank like the black mk7 had.

The owner of the black one posted on Facebook stating the production crew were just topping new fiesta's tank with a couple of litres at a time but filled his tank, you can see in the footage that the new fiesta's tank is almost empty.

Black one will have had a 35-40kg weight disadvantage.

I don't get the problem with the rear of the car. Once you're inside and driving it, if it's better than the Mk7 then who cares what the driver behind you sees :D.

I'm trying to resist going for a Mk8. Still find my Mk7 great to drive but I would like the better ride of the Mk8 (have pre-ST200 suspension) and LSD.
