Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

I don't get the problem with the rear of the car. Once you're inside and driving it, if it's better than the Mk7 then who cares what the driver behind you sees :D.

I'm trying to resist going for a Mk8. Still find my Mk7 great to drive but I would like the better ride of the Mk8 (have pre-ST200 suspension) and LSD.

I'd keep your mk7 for a while, the mk8 isn't going anywhere. :)

I'll probably upgrade in a few years, but then again I only bought my mk7 in June.

Had mine done, coolant only filled up to the min so had to get them to top it up. Also went through the dashcam and saw the idiot taking it out for a test drive, ragging it about and doing wheelspins. Absolutely furious.

Just a clip as an example.

Yeah I'd be wanting new front tyres and someones head for that. Go mental.

Also if you could name and shame at some point so I can avoid like the plague.

Hope he "chills man" when he's jobless. Time to exploit social media if you don't get the result you want privately

After reading about this on the OC I thought it was just rolling wheel spins. Not actually forced wheel spins with the handbrake. Poor show dude. Would not be happy about this if it was me. Would push it as far as I could go!

Lucky you got the "video of that one". ;)

I honestly never drive my car like that :p

Here's the whole thing as per the dashcam thread, crappy handbrake turn and all.

Made the mistake of sitting in (and test-driving) a Mk8 ST2 at the weekend when looking at options to change my mk7 ST-line. Now trying to do the man maths to make it a real option!

It just gets worse Janesy...was that a Ford dealer?

I'd make a mockery of them to be honest. This is the reason I take mine privately to a families independent garage. My cousin works at a Ford dealership and I wouldn't take it there for anything...

If there is one thing to make the head fail it's ragging it when cold...

Yeah was a Ford main dealer, it's just out of convenience as they are close.
Have you not been in to kick off? Take that clip in to show the manager and tell them you want something done about it. I hate Cheeky ******** who think they can just rag customers cars around. Why are they even driving it?
Would never take my car to anything other than a trusted independent

"road test" even though they didn't even check the engine bay for leaks as coolant pipes were changed. There was no reason for that car to leave the garage. I feel like reporting it as TWOC.

You should go in and show the manager at least. They should not be allowing what sounds like 2 kids to jump into customers cars and take them out. I bet there not even mechanically trained. They must be hitting at least 60 down them residential streets say someone reported your car for dangerous driving or it happened to be clocked speeding. Name and shame on social media aswell
