Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Going to detango my headlight indicator but I don't know whether my bulbs will be the offset type or normal? Is there any way to find out without taking the bulbs out and checking?

It's got the facelift lights if that makes any difference..

Ring ford first and see what they say. I wouldn't pay any more than £100, 2 hour job at most for a professional.

Get a status up on Facebook, Only time I go on it is when I need something done. Never fails to deliver.

Also introduce yourself on FFST, a lot of good guys and gals over there! Very helpful.

If you don't mind, can I ask how old you ST owners are? At the age of 26 I'm wondering if they are better suited to someone a bit younger?

I'm 26 and had my ST two and a half years. Don't really see how age should shape your car choice, buy what ever sort of car you enjoy for your budget, life is too short to conform to stereotypes. I get banter off some people at work or friends (boy racer etc, which I get more as my car is lowered with aftermarket wheels and a loud exhaust) but a lot of others love the car too.

Your usage pattern is far more important...if you do lots of motorway or long distance drives the fiesta is pretty crap, its noisy and unrefined, you should go for a larger car. But a hot hatch is far more fun to chuck about! You make your choice and deal with the compromises.

I'm 21 and just bought mine. As above don't see why your age should have a say in it, if you want a hugely fun and relatively cheap hatchback then you can't go wrong with a Fiesta ST. If you want something a little more grown up maybe look at the Focus? Although you'll have the running costs to go with it.

Cheeky picture I took yesterday

Playing with the idea of painting the headlights again, doh!

Yay or nay to gloss black plastics? A quick PS a friend did for me...

I've been quoted £150 (-10% STOC discount), for the whole lot including diffuser and rear reflector pods...

Thanks to all those who answered my question. The reason I asked is because I'm looking at a Fiesta ST as I'm a bit bored of my current car, as I just don't think it has the fun factor for me.

I currently have a 1.9TDI Audi A3. Now I know me wanting to go from an A3 to a Fiesta ST may surprise some people, but my main issues with the car is that it only has 105bhp, doesn't have a trip computer or cruise control etc, is 5 door rather than 3 door (only me who drives it), and size wise it's a lot bigger than what I've driven in the past. I will learn in future to do more research and to have more than one test drive.

All my previous cars have been petrol, only went diesel as I now drive about 30 mile a day getting to and from work (no motorway driving though) so thought I'd go down the economical route of driving, but I don't think it's for me. The A3 feels more suited to someone who drives longer distances on a daily basis.

I have considered going down the S-Line route, but the ones local to me are either too expensive, wrong colour, or too old. However if I did go down the Fiesta ST route, I would take quite a hit financially when it came to part ex going of the prices of both cars.
