Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Can anyone recommend some good brakes? Had to do an emergency stop today and I didnt make it in time, fortunately i was able to swerve into the next lane otherwise I was going into the back of a van.
 
It came up really well, wasn't expecting it to change much at all. I started with some wire wool + glass cleaner to shift the majority of the crap that was caked up, then got some clean wool and used polish instead. :)

And a quick snap of my car since I debadged it, changed the plates and polished the exhaust. What do people think to getting a silver lock cover on there to finish it off?

On the plus side I spoke to Eibach today and it turns out ruderacing make a special ST specific kit that actually gives a 35mm drop (instead of the 20-25mm people get from the prokit). Simply called eibach extra low springs. From what I can find they'll be back in stock in March, good news. I've contacted RR for more info.

Sorry for not getting back to you, got under my car today and it is indeed fitted with Eibach lowering springs :)

Yeah get it done, never used any of the key locks on my car.

I might de-badge my boot aswell.

Edit: infact I'm not sure if I have already de-badged it lol.... Will look when I finish work.
 
I feared the worst, thought someone had damaged your car or nicked your bumper or something! I reckon Overlag thought the same! If only someone would nick your splitter and paint it black or red :D

Overlag, any ideas on your weird engine sound?

A brilliant head unit. For example volume 20 on this is like volume 30 on the standard unit and clear as crisp, where as the standard unit would be dissorted.

thanks for the reply there dude - have you upgraded your speakers as well? If so what did you opt for? I've been looking at infinity's myself but am still undecided.

O no the post would be full of *'s and you would see permabanned under my name if it was a post like that lol.

If I go extra low, splitter will have to come off anyway due to mount everests around here on the roads.

Nope still the original speakers and not bothered about changing them as they sound fantastic as they are. Bass is extremely good aswell! Wouldn't believe it but I turned up the volume the other day really high where it was still clear, got out the car and the car was going like a rampant rabbit!

Yeah a few guys have been waiting. I just hope my insurance ain't to funny about it. Mate said he'll put me them on for £35 :)

Thanks again or the update - just one other quick question please? Does this particular unit come with a face off for security issues? Perhaps I'm just being paranoid here but I've had previous cars broken into before for the stereo :(
