Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

What's wrong with it?

I would have liked to try 165 before jumping straight to the 185 kit. The lack of torque was noticeable after I left Mountune and at one point I did think "what have I done" but on the drive home it made sense as soon as you push the loud pedal :)

Tbh the climate isn't needed, I'm yet to find myself think "God damn I need CC in my life!". Don't know why but I just don't want it like I would in other cars :D

Got some carbon wrap delivered today...going to experiment on my centre console :)

With the Fiesta's AC system its either too hot or too cold TBH. And The AC absolutely KILLS the MPG, extremely bad.

Either too hot or too cold is exactly the point as to why manual air con sucks compared to climate control! On a long motorway trip I find myself constantly fiddling and turning the air con off and on during the journey as it gets too hot or cold and is never quite right- I remember driving my dads Subaru legacy, 21 degrees set on the climate all year round and never needing to touch it! Perfect.

My next car, whatever that will be, must have climate.

Had my AC re-charged this week due to the recent weather.

Having looked at the STs for sale a few posts up, I can't help but feel that I may have paid over the odds for mine. £7850, 2008 plate, 24500 miles. No folding wing mirrors, no automatic wipers & lights, no climate control. Although at the time all I was wanting was a trip computer. Did come lowered with tinted windows though.

Set about sorting out some brake cooling for the fronts today, only managed one side as I didn't have enough air ducting to do both.

Pictures aren't great but gives you an idea

Currently the feed is the fog lights but when I get round to making the splitter/flat floor i'll use some ducts embedded into that to feed them instead. Was a bit awkward as the caliper is at the front on the ST, would have been a lot easier with it to the rear. It blows cold air directly onto the disc face which is exactly what I was after.

I've also been speaking to Mark at RnD Motorsport again as we had briefly talked about some camber adjustable lower arms in the past and lets just say something might be on the cards soon.. Camber (and castor maybe) adjustable as well as possibly being of tubular design and rose jointed

That is an awful lot of money for an 08 one :(

Hi guys, I'm looking at buying a Fiesta ST.

How much should I be looking at paying approx for a Frozen White 08 plate, 25,000 miles with full service history, 2 remote keys, auto lights/wipers, immaculate inside & out, 1 previous lady owner & MOT till April 2013.

Cheers,
Adam
