Who owns a Golf GTD / GTI / R?

Best one I can find so far is £236 a month - 3 +23. 10k - £360 fee.

or £247.50 3 plus 23 /10k with no admin fee is slightly cheaper over the whole deal.

DSG all the way for me

cant see how i can go back to a manual box anymore.

The one I quoted was 2K in and 107 per month, so that one is somewhat different. It was that specific one that has been withdrawn. Mileage was 5K, when I moved it to 10K it was up to the numbers you quote.

Id stick to the same ones that have been supplied if you are happy with them , if not change them to something like P Zeros , MPSS , Contis Sport 5/6 etc etc

Terrible tyres for grip on anything but bone dry surfaces and noisy as well. I have got Uniroyal Rainsport 3 on at the moment and pleased with them but they will wear fast if they are driven hard every day.

Mine arrived in the UK a week ago, and I've not had a call to arrange delivery yet - A few people on piston heads said they had a call within a day once theirs landed - I chased it and they said they (the lease company) have to wait for VW to give them the all clear and confirm delivery. I guess it has been xmas/new-year etc but I was told I'd be getting delivery this week... guess it's a bit more of a wait

Why disable stop/start if you're not happy with the economy? Seems a bit contradictory?

It makes little bit worse economy when I leave it on from what I find.

If I disable the Stop / Start and coming to a complete stop for at least 20 secs , I depress the brake a bit more so the engine down revs to about 750 rpm instead of light brake of about 1.1K rpm. Surely that will save me a few drops of fuel

I'm not unhappy with the MPG , just wishing it could be a bit better, I expected about 30Mpgs , even though the book says approx. 40 mpgs but I'm only on 2300 miles , and I'm sure it will get better in the warmer climate.

I'm cool with the wait, not back in the UK until the 16th anyway.

Did yours come with mats as standard? or have to go out and buy?

Mine is averaging around 32-35mpg depending on who is driving (My wife likes the throttle..).

Done just over 6700 miles since March last year.
