Beautiful!
It was on my list after being priced out of buying a 340i/S4, but ended up getting a really good deal on a 320d from a family member who is retiring from driving.
Let me know what you think on the Dynaudio system.
That look's good, not usually a fan of red but really suits the car. Looking forward to more photo's.
I keep looking at GTI's but they are certainly expensive at the moment, how much did you pay may I ask?
I have strong money in my GTD but to get a MK 7.5 GTI with DSG it requires a couple of grand which my sensible head is saying keep it in the bank
The value of your GTD may be inflated at the moment - worth trying to research how much the cost difference would have been pre covid and see whether you’re in any worse situation as a result. You might find they’ve both increased at the same rate.
Yes my GTD has gone up over 2/3k. I'm not sure how much GTI's were before so might have a look into that although pretty much GTI's are now Golf R money as of a year ago.
Due to the inflation is why I've been looking daily to see if I can jump into a GTI for not very much additional cash before the rate drops but I guess it drops on both cars so more a case of waiting for the right one to pop up. (Has to be Indium Grey I think) or may consider White Silver actually this time round.
Still tweaking it, but its pretty good tbh, far, far better than stock. The reason it took me so long to find one I wanted was because it had to have Dynaudio, PP and camera. (I was also pretty keen for it be be red with the 19's too!)Beautiful!

I don't think it would be that low, 16k-16.5k maybe, but not 15, and that would have been without anything else, wheels etc. or it would have a lot of miles on it.Im fairly confident I would have been able to get a 2015/16 GTI with Dynaudio for ~15k pre covid.
They’re now going for 18+

The premium on "Hot-ish" Hatchbacks is unbelievable.
The red and black works so well together in the flesh, picture doesn't really do it justice as it was a quick shot in a car park on the way home.
I paid a touch over £18k for mine, its got just over 44k on the clock. First thing the dealer said to me was the price wasn't negotiable!
R waiting at the dealers. HR/least lady on holiday....hopefully sort delivery for next week.
Good stuff. Would love to hear your thoughts when you get it
How long did you have to wait for it by the way?
@chroniclard is your R an 8? Saw one at the dealership when I picked up mine, cracking looking motor they are.
Just new car list prices these days.£46k for a Golf is utterly mental.
