I'm definitely buying one but I'm waiting to hear more about the custom AIB versions.
Plus an extra annoyance is that I need to keep the card to less than 29cm long this time!

I think I'm very tempted. Not going to rush into it though, will skip Funders and wait for the custom cooler versions.

I'm on a X34 with 980ti which has been doing the job nicely, but some extra performance is nice to have and could be used! Comes at a cost though... jeez!!

have a 1080, dont see its worth £300 to upgrade after selling my card + waterblock & buying the 1080ti and waterblock

also im hardly playing anything in forever lol

all that aside I might just get one if I feel the change but not right now.. need some motivation to buy one

Wonder how much they'll be marked up on retailer sites, Bet it's quite a bit over MSRP, If Nvidia will be selling them for £699.99 retailers are going to have a hard time selling as many Founder Editions as Nvidia as retailers always sadly sell beyond MSRP.

Nope, will probably either stick with what I've got or get a gtx 1070 if the price is right. GPU prices have been ridiculous for a while now due to a variety of factors, and I don't need to have the best card anyway. A lot games run pretty well at 1080p for me in most things still, and a 1070 would be nice to play and maximise a few more settings.

Me neither my 980ti will be enough for me for a while. To be honest I'm hoping Amd bring something to the table as I'd really like to try out a decent monitor but I'm not paying G-sync prices.

Hopefully retailers will try and undercut Nvidia slightly to tempt people away.

Buying on launch can be the real gamble, sometimes its the best time to buy as prices can rise sharply due to lack of stock. Other times deals can pop up 3-4 weeks after launch when more after-market cards appear on the market and each manufacturer is trying to get your money.

I'm buying at launch, as I have done with the previous Ti releases, to maximise the benefit of having one. The 980 Ti has done well and is still a good card, only slightly held back by it's memory capacity with a few games. I can however see this becoming more of an issue going forward. Hopefully the 1080 Ti will last as long as the 980 Ti.

780 Ti - 7th November, 2013
980 Ti - 2nd June, 2015 (1 year, 6 months, 26 days)
1080 Ti - 10th March, 2017 (1 year, 9 months, 8 days)
