Why are Evri are so absolutely abysmal?

I know RM have been on strike.

I haven’t received any cards in the post.

My parents have noticed that those posted 10-14th have been received and those family and friends who said they posted theirs around 7th, not been received.

Is it a case of RM delivering the first accessible sacks?

Another amazing job by Evri... ordered a couple of Xmas gifts on the 9th December, delivery 3 - 5 days.. guess where the parcel is... hint, its not under the tree

How the hell can they have the parcel sat in their depot since the 12th and it not move...

Because they're busily opening and inspecting goods to see if they're worth nicking.

Yodel have been successfully delivering my Beer52 order for over a year. Beer52 switched to Evri. My first order mysteriously disappeared in their depot, I mean who would want to nick a case of Beer just before Xmas?

Beer52 had another go and sent out a second case. You guessed it, it never found its way to my home, tracking shows a ‘major incident’ happened on 25th December!!! Couldn’t make it up.

Beer52 offered to send out a third but I spared them the loss of a third parcel. The guy on the phone said I wasn’t the first person this has happened to and he would switch me back to Yodel!

Wow, amazed at the incompetence of the Evri driver who 'delivered' today. I had a replacement item delivered today for a gift I bought my brother, which was broken when he opened it on Christmas Day.

Somehow, the company have accidentally sent me two replacements it seems. One I received yesterday at my work address, and today another randomly arrives which I was notified was left with a neighbour as the office is closed on a weekend.

Only the photo showed the driver had left the parcel outside the office doors. Thankfully I'm close to the office so managed to go and pick it up, otherwise it would definitely had been stolen because the office is on a busy road in a not very nice area of town.

To top it off the box is soaking wet! Not sure how, the office door is overhung by floor one so it wasn't left in the rain...

I had an Evri parcel left outside in my front garden just before Xmas , rather than leave it at the house end he left it just by the wall at the front so any passer by could nab it, fortunately the heavy rain must have put off would be thieves and we noticed it the following morning, wiping off the sodden cardboard to reveal the contents inside!

Placed an online order over the weekend. They offered no alternatives to their standard delivery which is through Evri. Let's see how this goes...

What a surprise. Tracking showed it as being out for delivery yesterday afternoon with a scheduled delivery between 8 and 9pm. It never turned up. Tracking still shows it as scheduled for delivery yesterday. Is it coming via a certain Delorean with a flux capacitor?

My evri guy just throws it over my gate regardless of contents or weather. And I'm not talking about dropping it to the other side of the gate but throwing it about 3-4 meters past the gate. I'm sure he's trying to beat his record.

I feel its worth adding an update!

Evri managed to deliver both parcels this week, one was 4 weeks late, the other 6 weeks late! I've long since been refunded now but did contact Beer52 and was told they don't really uplift beer from customers as its too much hassle so I have two free cases of Beer!

I'm not sure whether that's positive for Evri or not, probably not as its massively late and they'll have to refund Beer52 but I suspect its one of their better deliveries to date so they'll call it a win!

My mum’s friends live in London (SW16) and only get ONE delivery from RM each week. When they do get it, it’s usually 10-13 items.

Not acceptable as one of them is housebound.

I've now stopped all postage by RM on my Ebay sales, after watching identical parcels go to Evri and one to RM, that takes RM 2-3 times longer to deliver.
