If you havent got the ESD file in the sources folder of your hidden windows folder (should have downloaded for the update)

Then download it manually from one of the links here
Pick the version (that your eligable for) / language

Once you have the ISO file in windows 8 just double click it to mount it and run the setup.

are you guys gonna install flash...motherboard drivers...ect when you finsh your install or will you just leave the windows ones in?
My windows 10 is all done and running great but I haven't installed any of them yet but its already working fine so I don't know if I should install them?
 
Well after it seemingly stopped for me, I decided maybe I should you know... try restarting the PC. After restarting windows update screen automatically popped up, showed me I had only a windows definition to update... I pressed OK, and suddenly it is saying it is downloading Windows 10 lol. Fab.

EDIT: Actually.. not sure now.. nothing seems to have actually happened.....
 
Windows 10 installed and when it got to the Welcome page it just showed a black screen for 40 minutes, Didn't budge at all, Tried restarting and got nothing, Back to 8.1 :(

Also booted into the technical preview and noticed this, Thought it was meant to be DX12 ???

should have done this from the start, instead of messing around with that command. Iso was created in a few mins, and now i'm installing Win 10 for reals. Cheers :)

Dicehunter> If it helps, my 380 is showing as supporting 11.2 as well. (On another thing, I noticed the pci-e lane change from 3.0 to 1.1 right before my eyes!).
 
ERROR: Decryption failed. None of the known/specfied RSA key works.

Errors were reported during ESD decryption.



Suicide is an option if this doesn't work sometime soon.


EDIT: just needed a more recent version of the ESD decrypter. Nearly done now.

I'm amusing that when i install this upgrade all my apps and everything are going to be over written? or will they just be there taking up space and not working?

Steam GOG Origin and Uplay would all require full reinstalls?

Has anyone tried PleX on widows 10 yet?

It was sat there this morning but as i only have the one Laptop here I am fearful of borking it while away from my other PCs.

Works PCs are super locked down so I could even get a ISO on a USB with them to fix it if something breaks.
