Windows 10

If you are preloaded and want to instal now -

In the Preload folder in Sources directroy there is a file Install.esd copy this to a new folder.
Download esd decrypter - https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=e8e5cc039d51e3db&id=E8E5CC039D51E3DB!77869
install 7 zip to extract esd decrypter
Extract all the files and put it in the same folder as install.esd
Right click decrypt install as administrator
choose option 1
This will create the windows 10 iso, right click and mount it then run setup.

I did upgade and keep file and installed fine.

This worked for me eventually, thanks :)

One issue I had though was that I had to copy the iso to another directory before the installer would run, kept saying could not start, you may need to reboot or something like that.

Again, even if you're successful and begin to download the 3GB the likely hood when it tries to install it will fail and you're back to square one.

So far the successful installs are using the ESD Decrypt method.

My upgrade method was fine. I didnt do anything with ESD Decrypt. I just prompted the install with the cmd command already posted and it began. No issues at all.

Nothing happens when I do that, other than 4 new files appearing in \SoftwareDistribution\Download.

Where do we get the .esd file from?

Code:
In the Preload folder in Sources directory there is a file Install.esd copy this to a new folder.

Download esd decrypter - https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=e8e5c...9D51E3DB!77869

Extract esd decrypter with RAR/7Zip
Extract all the files and put it in the same folder as install.esd
Right click decrypt install as administrator
choose option 1
This will create the windows 10 iso, right click and mount it then run setup.

Not sure if that Windows BT folder means much at all when trying the wuauclt.exe /updatenow trick. I deleted mine which was 6gb by running a disk cleanup, the folder showed up again after a reboot, but it was only 140mb. Now Windows magically started to install Windows 10 after trying wuauclt.exe /update with a 140mb Windows BT folder. Currently prepping for installation :)

I just figured out that this wuauclt.exe /updatenow command doesn't start the "installation", but just lets me download the files that i already had in the first place. :(
