Windows 10

A lot of the windows 8 drivers seem too work in windows 10 it seems. I doubt you will find official driver support until it reaches RC stage. You may find some rare hardware is not supported, but most new motherboards will work automatically with windows update.

All the drivers installed automatically except the display drivers on my pc.

Ah, I am almost loving Win10.

I have it on my main Laptop, its a dual graphic jobbie ( Intel & 860M )

I cannot get the nVidia to run quite right?

The NV Drivers have gone in from Windows itself, It sees it in the DevMgr just fine, however it wont actually play any games with NVidia, only intel.

I tried forcing the Win 8.1 Drivers in and now it says that there is no compatible Graphic device installed?

Other than that, Im in love.

Oh, I did try forcing AeroGlass for 8.1 and that ruined it... A ton of restarts later seemed to solve that, but again, its something that I kind of expected to kill the PC, it did, but the PC did eventually fix itself.

Well, with the various bits of upgrades, I am very pleased with 10. It seems to be quite an improvement over Windows 7 and some of the apps are quite useful... though some not so.

Does anyone have problems with IE not displaying pages correctly? I have had a few occasions where a forum, like this has loaded and the text is missing letters randomly.

I thought it was a hardware fault on my PC, but as soon as it happened on the Surface 3 in exactly the same way, it's impossible that it can be.

I'm kind of leaning towards it maybe being a Haswell IGP driver issue.

I wish we had another company creating the OS that everyone uses. MS do such a terrible job it is pathetic. Imagine if the main OS that everyone used for enterprise was well made and development put a lot of effort in to it. It would make my job so much easier and my life so much better. Instead i have to put up with this non sense from MS every day.

of course one can always use Linux which is probably powering most of the Internet. A number of public bodies have moved over to Linux and it's a very stable platform for everything except gaming.

Honestly, this version of Windows, Windows 10 as well as Windows 7 have proved not to be too bad a platform for most things as gamers are rather stuck having to use Windows. I would probably move to Linux if it wasn't for gaming.
