Looks like 10 is getting a proper command line package manager like Linux has http://www.extremetech.com/computin...age-manager-much-to-the-lament-of-linux-users
Noticed some BSOD's upon exiting games (FM15/All Zombies must die/FM14)
Happens on both Desktop and Surface 3.
Getting this when I exit a steam game
Already half way there with the powershell installers though are we not so not really a "new" feature...
Are you on a Haswell chip?
And glad it's not just me. At least now I know it's 100% not my hardware.
It's so inconsistent thoigh.
I don't remember Windows having any sort of Package Manager in the past though. I tend to use Choclatey as it reminds me of using Linux, but if they add this to Windows then it's going to be interesting to know what happens with Choclatey as it'll essentially be the same thing.
Well I have very few problems. The most annoying is that the control box on open windows has a tendency to disappear so applications have to be shut by right-clicking on the icon on the Task Bar. This happens with Thunderbird as well as IE and I have had it with Libre Office too.
Otherwise, everything works as it should and works faster too. What Steam games I have all work with the exception of GTA IV which I am still investigating. LA Noir which is based on using Games for Windows live, runs fine so I don't know what's wrong.
Rumour that W10 will be FREE for personal users...

I have no idea if this is accurate but it is interesting

How stable does everyone feel Windows 10 is right now? Despite the technical preview moniker I'm seriously tempted to use it for what will hopefully be a new build next month or at Christmas aimed at gaming. And personally I'd rather use my cash for the OS on hardware.
They don't seem to quote a source for this info, so far I was under the impression that a free upgrade was purely speculation.
Are many using 10 on a regular basis? I'm going to install it on my laptop tonight. Going to keep 8.1 on my rig though.
