Coincidence I think not
So many trees down blocking all the roads by me, be a good week before their cleared. (Mid Wales coast)
Every main road is closed, people without electric all day, wind is still howling, temp holding at 6C
In my experience, that’s about the only good thing about a new build.Just moved into a new build, I can’t believe the insulation, absolutely phenomenal, putting the heating on is completely optional and only needed for an hour or two each day otherwise I’m too hot in the evening.
Yeah it's good for that, until summer comes around and you need to get the heat out and can't.Just moved into a new build, I can’t believe the insulation, absolutely phenomenal, putting the heating on is completely optional and only needed for an hour or two each day otherwise I’m too hot in the evening.

Haha yes I know, I’ve had 2 fans going on during late summer.Yeah it's good for that, until summer comes around and you need to get the heat out and can't.
Ive got a leak in the roof, not sure what the issue is yet, going to try and get up there myself sometime this week if I can get some ladders and stuff. Helped a chap for about 2 months doing some roofing about 15 years ago but that was proper slate not whatever we have. Think its round the fake chimney.Just got home, apart from the front drain cover having done a runner and the bottom of the garden being flooded everything looks fine.
Been out for a look round with a torch, I was worried the wind might have ripped something off like tiles or telly aerial.
Still blowing like mad.
