Melisandre looks right to me, but Stannis needs a much heftier jawline than that.

I'm half way through the 3rd book.

I dunno, I always imagined Asha as really hot while the girl they've got looks unconventionally hot - hopefully the word "nuncle" won't make it to the script. Xaro Xhoan Daxos, I never pictured as being black but I reckon he could be good - looks like a merchant prince anyway.

Loving this also, halfway through 4th book too, some great plot twists in it so far. Really looking forward to seeing it on the screen!
 
Can someone tell me how much of the first book is covered by the first season ? I'm just coming to the end of the book
 
storm of swords has been my favourite read up to now,a lot of twists and shocking turns in that one,just starting the last book now,i hope its as good as the storm of swords book.

No, it's the first book. The only time I can see two books combined into one series is with the third book, which is in two parts. That series will be so epic it will probably hurt.
 
I think there was one Arya scene which didn't appear in the first book but it isn't important so It won't ruin your reading of the next book
