Played 5 this season at AMC according to whoscored, but watching him at the WC showed he doesn't always play off the left.

Mainly central or more on the right for Holland

That's definitely a shock considering all the talk that's been going on. I thought he'd easily be a 50mil+ player considering the hype around him.

I don't think we necessarily 'lost out' - ETH effectively chose to sign Antony over him in the summer.

He still wants FDJ though but that sounds more likely to be the summer if it happens.

No firm striker target has been revealed yet...

Missed this.

To me this is a Diaz signing. United have been linked for ages and a chance to sign him for a decent fee have come up so we pounced and got the deal done. I dont think this would impact a midfield arrival.

How much was he linked for in the summer? Surely his stock has only risen since.

Yeah I agree - happy with it, excited by it, but if we now don't get a midfielder in January I'll be disappointed

It was around €40-50m so similar money. ETH opted for Antony for almost double that.

I think the emergence of Garnacho means we're more likely to go for a striker and FDJ in the summer for midfield.

There's no obvious target - I suppose Osimhen? Or Mbappe if the Qatari's buy us

Milner has played 24 games at right back according to TM (4% of his games). Martial has played 127 games at left wing (38% of his games)
