Ok. As I said before, I really don't think the financial side of things is as big a deal as many do. We see lots of clubs front load transfer spend and make up for it later. It's something we've done before too. If we can get both, I think we will but the challenge is convincing the players for me.

Salif Diou. Diop played for Fulham I think. And yea, he was a disaster but thankfully didn't cost much. We also signed Bruno Cheyrou that summer too who Houllier called the new Zidane. Turns out he wasn't.
Your frigging Liverpool. Very much doubt any player needs much convincing. Your not also afraid to throw around a bit of cash for transfer fees.

It will be more down to wages. (Total fee)

That's were the money truly starts to rack up and can hurt clubs in the long run.

As lovely as that first part sounds, unfortunately Real Madrid are frigging Real Madrid and Bayern are frigging Bayern and so on. We won't be competing for these players with nobody clubs but other leading clubs from around Europe. Obviously wages will be a factor in any players decision and you'll need to be competitive but I'm not as cynical as most people regarding this. I don't think that many players are motivated purely by money but they've also have to be convinced about all other aspects of the club too.

I wish it was as simple as the days when we signed VVD. He reportedly met Klopp at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and after a Klopp hug, a stick of rock and a ride on the big one, he got straight on the phone and told City and Chelsea where to go.

And I'm sorry to say, I'm hoping they go for Bruno, leaving a clearer run for us at Bellingham and or Fernandez :p

Either way, we've got 6 months worth endless speculation that will swing backwards and forwards to look forward to.

Neither did I as when the lads come back we do have a lot of forwards. Makes me think Bobby isnt signing a new deal and Gakpo is his replacement and we are doing a Diaz by getting him early.

37mil apparently.
Others are picking it up now, so yeah done deal imo. Boom.

Who needs midfielders eh

re Bobby, lots of chatter about us offering him a rolling one year deal
