Nice, I think that's around what I ended up paying for mine after stacking codes, cashback and several goodwill refunds for the several months' delay and multiple deliveries which never turned up

Well worth it - mad when you look at the price that some (IMO) far inferior monitors go for!

Yerr the wife tends to work from home a lot and did read about the text clarity. Burn in is also a worry but granted comes with 3 Yr protection.

How much on a upgrade would you say it? Some of me says to hold out for 4k iterations

Must admit the text has not bothered me at all. Sure if you go digging for the issue you will find it.

My previous main monitor was LG 27Gp950 4k so I expected it would be much worse.

Yes, the text clarity is still an issue. I am really surprised that Microsoft still hasn't done anything about it. It is so easy to fix, if you are a company like Microsoft. There is a solution, by the way, it's called Mactype. How to set it up is documented in the forums here. The only problem with it is that doesn't work with dual monitors, which, unfortunately, I have. That's why we really need Microsoft to get moving and get it sorted!!

Me neither and I use mine constantly for my IT work..

I think it's a Marmite thing. You either don't notice it at all, or it drives you mad. Personally, I use two monitors, so I can use a standard monitor for normal stuff.

What's the best way to increase colour depth when using an AMD card? I'm finding the colours are looking a little bit washed out and on Nvidia I would adjust this with the Digital Vibrance option in NCP.

There's a similar setting in the AMD software under Colour control called 'Saturation' iirc

Just taken delivery of a DWF. Yet to unpack and test as waiting for my new PC to turn up. This may be a short adventure.

My old iMac now needs careful screen management to avoid image retention - hoping this will prepare me for the Oled experience.
