World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

Don't pretend you ever go outside. You have far too many posts for that.
Clearly you've not seen my work online then, also been here since 2002, a time when putting system specs in sigs was actually cool :p

Yeah, but if I put my system specs in my signature I don't need to mention I have a 4090 in every single post :p

I seriously doubt putting specs in a signature was ever cool, but then I expect you buy iPhone because you are trying to impress the fellow kids

PS: Sig specs are actually useful

Serious question guys

Is there a technical reason why we don't yet have any high PPI 21:9 monitors?

Why can't manufacturers make a 21:9 34 inch with a resolution of 5160x2160. 5160x2160 is the natural next step from 3440x1440 as it's 50% more pixels on each axis and would create a high ppi screen

We’re only just getting 32” 4K OLEDs next year so it’s probably somewhere in the pipeline if demand is high enough.
