No but on the forza 6 video on Digital foundry. He stated 4K 60fps with Xbox one settings (medium). Which matches the capability of the RX580.
And that wasn't maxing the Scorpio Engine out either.

You are quite right but the rx580 gets similar usage and fps at those settings too.And that wasn't maxing the Scorpio Engine out either.
How's about this - CD Projekt Red are working on a patch for Xbone X and PS4 Pro for The Witcher 3!

Was there not only one game for the xbox one x where it was specifically stated 4k @ 60 fps i.e. forza? So in other words all the other titles that didn't mention 60 fps are more than likely running at 30fps?
What FPS is Horizon Zero Dawn? Don't ever see anyone complaining about that. Surprise surprise!
Hehehe. Well spotted.
i think as Microsoft "Play Anywhere" becomes the norm for more 3rd party titles an XBox will make increasing sense for PC gamers to compliment the PC when you want to play your games from the couch on the TV without having to re buy them.
In fact, Eurogamer state that it is a "technical masterpiece" despite being locked to 30 fps.
So surely the Sony faithful here must agree that there is nothing wrong with 30fps.
Oh no, of course, it's not a PlayStation so it must be rubbish, the much higher resolution suddenly not important despite the past years being filled with "omg so blurry on X1 like it's been smeared with Vaseline!", and anything less than 60fps unplayable.
You couldn't make it up.
Personally I wish more games on the console would give the choice like rise of the tomb raider i.e. 30 fps and max IQ or 60 fps with lesser IQ, for me, FPS greater than graphics, especially action/FPS games, it's the main reason I still stick with PC atm.
It would be nice if it did what it said on the tin. By that I mean on RotTR
1) 4K 30fps mode is very noticeable as it gets rid of all the shimmer on foliage but it crashes my PS4 Pro
2) 1080p30 with additional graphics features - I can't tell the difference whatsoever
3) 1080p unlocked frame rate - average 45fps according to Digital Foundry
Ah didn't realise there were those issues
Saying that, rise of the tomb raider isn't exactly a well optimised title on the PC either so maybe other developers/games could do better in the future....
I didn't think the Xbox UI was too bad personally, I prefer it over the PS4's.
I wonder what the Scorpio's UI will be like. There was talk of it using Microsoft's new interface called Project Neon with fancy graphics and animations. It'd be a pity if it was the boring black, plain text style of the current Xbone.
Ok, £250 left for CPU, RAM, mobo, bluray drive, HDD and PSU.
