Apparently MW2 is free to download and play today until the evening of 19 December, but I don't seem to be able to find the right 'version' amongst the store. Anyone else managed to see it?

Also, I'm still on an Xbox One X; keep toying with the idea of using the £29 a month with Game Pass from Microsoft for the Series X but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Just had a 0% credit card (for 17 months) arrive last week though, so I suppose I could treat myself (without game pass and buy outright)

Is there a new xbox console coming out soon? I sold my ps5 to get the xbox (because of the gamepass) and ive been told today that there's a new xbox console coming out in 2023? Is this true? Is it worth waiting for?

There would only be an xbox Series X Pro or something like that. Highly unlikely of a weaker/slim model as we already have the series s

Buy the series x second hand and sell second hand, making minimal loss if there is a new one.

1 year without an xbox is a long time to wait on the rumour there might be a better one
 
If Starfield is on gamepass, does that also mean it'll be on the PC pass, giving us a choice of where to play it?
There seems to be rumours of it being delayed again, which would be a shame, but CP77 shows why its better releasing when its right.

This & Forza Motorsport are what im looking forward to for next year.

I suspect my system wont be able to handle it on PC without throwing money at it.

It'd be interesting if KB+M was supported on XSX, although my setup atm is a 49" G9 with a 65" C2 above, and using a KB+M wouldnt be comfortable with the TV and would have to drop to 1440p (if the box supports it - it does :D) to get a comfortable experience

For what reason? There's been nothing but remakes and remasters for the current Series X. How about they release some series S and X games like they did when the 360 came and then the Xbox One. For all the games that have come out since the X came out, I may as well have carried on using the Xbox one.

I think it's 100% real that the new PS5 model will be out next year with the disc drive being an accessory that you need to purchase separately if you want that functionality.
 
BF 2042 and Insurgency Sandstorm. Two GamePass releases that are recent and I can't find a match on either, never had this problem on pc but on Xbox with online games there doesn't ever seem to be anyone playing them.strange considering how many people own them

Even when the latest Battlefield was new i could barely find a game with it disabled. Nearly a whole game of bots every time.

Assuming the numbers are low for xbox series, and it's just not bad timing during quieter hours, I guess one of the reasons could he that battlefield was originally and for me at least, always seen as a game better played on PC, where as COD seemed to tailor more to the console players style.

Add to that, it is much better in pc with higher players per game (at least that's what I understand pc can have 124 where as xbox is 64?) and aiming etc on an fps just much more fun on PC.

Shame it's so bad for you though. I tried the game now it's free in game pass and didn't like it.

The battlefield games died after 2142 and when it tried to be more cod like.
