so would it be better getting a 32" TV or monitor.

In my little office I've only got space for a 32" something for my Series S. I can get a 1080p tv for next to nothing but would a larger monitor be worth the extra cost? What are people plugging their consoles into within their man caves?
LG3GP850 does 4K 60fps with vrr or 1440p / 1080p with vrr input lag and pixel response time is really really low highly recommend them. I’ve had a lot of monitors m32u gigabyte, Samsung g7, various benqs these are going over the last 3 years

Any users of the Elite controller here? I'm using the regular XB controller for some games on PC and I don't find it to be anywhere near the quality of the old 360 controller I had. Is the Elite a genuine step up in build quality?

I use a Elite but find it a bit on the heavy side tbh and I am always accidentally pressing the padals on the back.

Same. I prefer the lighter weight of the standard Series X controller.

As for the Elite being a step in build quality : both yes ands no. Yes, it feels more robust and has a premium feel to it, but this controller is prone to stick drift and other issues ( I haven't encountered this but I haven't had my Elite controller for long ). So the quality of the internal electronics aren't necessarily a step up.

I use an Elite V2. Yeah the quality is good, but it is heavier than the standard pad. The battery lasts for ages though. I haven’t had any issues with it to date.

I have read some people have had issues with R1/L1 buttons failing and also stick drift. I’ve not had any of those issues. It has a cool feature to stiffen the stick tension which is handy if you prefer a bit more resistance.

I personally love my Elite, but then I don’t mind the extra weight or the back paddles (which are also really useful). I accept it won’t suit everyone but I have no regrets.

Does anyone use the Xbox app in Windows to stream games from their Xbox. I have everything cabled and running at GB speeds yet the quality still seems a little rubbish, i regularly get it where the whole screen loses resolution then a line goes down and it increases again. Panning round in 3d games tends to cause this. Considering this is supposed to work over the internet I thought it should almost faultless on a GB LAN, am I expecting too much?

Mine was fine but you do naturally lose some clarity as the bitrate is just too low. Frames were fine but the quality meant that in the end I just moved the xbox to my screen

Its a bitrate issue. They where using rainway tech which, when avaialble for the PC, I never could get it looking good. Always had artifacting and blurryness... I wish they had used Parsec or something else as that is perfect and works wonders PC to PC... I've given up gamestreaming for that reason on my Series X

I can understand controlling bitrate for cloudgaming but they should at least give us the option of increasing the bitrate on a local connection; it can increase the latency especially on the encoding side but the current gpu within the series x should be able to handle that well enough.

Anyone else tried the wild hearts 10 hour trial. The gameplay is fantastic and I'm really enjoying it. The graphics are disappointing however - it looks worse than rise and mh world. I'm playing on series x (looking through reddit similar comments for ps5 and some pc users). The textures look a bit blurry to me, hopefully patches will improve this. Such a shame as the game itself is very addictive.

So I fired up Atomic Heart earlier today to make sure it was ready for tonight, title screen loaded fine. Shut down the Xbox good to go.

Just sat down to play it all excited and there is a 67.54GB update which I now have to download over WiFi, I'm fuming
