Has anyone used the official Wireless headset for both Series X and PC? I know there's an extra dongle you can buy for PC to reduce the latency, but I'm finding differing opinions on how well the headset performs. Discussions of a slight delay which is apparently noticeable which would wind me up no end.
I have it and quite like it. Sound quality is decent ( especially if you get the Dolby Atmos app upgrade ) and I find the headset more comfortable to wear than the Sony equivalent ( Pulse 3D ).
Is that the extra £20 or so for the app upgrade (which makes me kinda reluctant, tbh)
Atomic Heart is fast becoming annoying (or at least its lack of being able to manually save is). Got to the point early on in the game where you have to escape the village. Stealth and lots of creeping around seems to be the order of the day. So I had been creeping around for a good hour, stocking up on items, ammo and consumables. Found a pistol too at one point. Jumped down from a small wall and got stuck on a rock in some sort of glitch like situation. Had no choice but to reload a saved game.
Took me right back to the start of the level. Really?
That looks an interesting game, and its under a fiver in some places so I'll give that a whirl, thanks.Play Generation Zero if you haven't already, graphics aren't as good but I played it straight after Atomic Heart and it's almost as if it's the game Atomic Heart should have been but better
Good to know there are more save points available once you get a bit further on. I'm at the very first outdoor level after you escape the facility underground and pop up in the lift to the outside world.Yeah - had quite a few glitch issues myself on this game where a re-load was the only fix. Not sure how far you are in, but there are tons of save points you can use throughout the game after you get through the initial outdoor level, but you do need to make it part of your play style to remember to go and save.
I really enjoyed AH, in spite of the scenery glitches.
Yeah same. Nobody wants to see 30 FPS on any game let alone a shooter ....Yup, was looking forward to it I love Arkane games but would take 60fps over some shadows and whatever any day
That's not great news. Redfall was already struggling to catch the imagination of gamers ; not having a 60fps mode ( for a shooter game ) is going to lessen the appeal. Are MS that desperate to have it release at the start of May ? Perhaps they don't think it will stand up well to the competition from June onwards ?
Gets worse as the year progresses, should MS decide to change the release date. For example, it could be up against Final Fantasy 16, Spider-man 2, Diablo 4, Forza Motorsport or Starfield ( the latter 2 are Xbox exclusives, I know ... but I'm sure MS don't want their own 1st party titles stealing each others thunder ).Less than four days after Jedi Survivor, and a week before Tears of the Kingdom. Not an ideal release date TBH.
