Is Cyberpunk 2077 worth getting now? I heard it was pretty bad when it first came out, but I guess it should be fixed by now.
Yes, personally I think it's a very good game although not without its problems.

The enemy ai isn't particularly clever, few bullet sponge bosses, many of the missions are quite repetitive, it's typical open world tbh. Keanu is also bloody annoying.

What sets it apart for me is the city and the cyberpunk setting, it's just a fantastic place to explore.

I really enjoyed the character customisation and how you can change your playstyle even as you progress. For example, I was just using guns for quite a while, then switched to swords, then arm-implanted mantis blades, then gorilla arms which are super fun as you simply punch people into next week.

Sounds good. Thank you.

If you're a major fan of the cyberpunk theme/aesthetic, then it's possibly a good time to jump in as many of the bugs & technical issues have been eradicated. However, in my opinion, it's still a very mediocre game that will never manage to live up to the heights CDPR promised. Night City still feels empty and under utilised ; player choice remains limited ; combat systems are janky etc. Perhaps the forthcoming expansion may address some of these problems, but my gut instinct is that it will take a Cyberpunk 2.0 before many gamers hopes are realised.

So, had a couple of hours playing Redfall tonight. I'm not impressed.

The visuals look like something released years ago. The waypointing for objectives is awful. You can't save manually and the way it does save games is frustrating- at one point I had been exploring for a good while, working my way towards the next mission objective and got jumped by a couple of vampires, resulting in my demise.

The game then proceeded to start me again from about 45 mins previously......not good.

Aiming weapons is horrible, although I see from the games community discussion there are a few tweaks which improve this.

Will give this a bit more effort as I like the premise of the game, but I wouldn't be surprised if I uninstall it by the end of the week, due to sheer frustration.

Completed jedi outcast last week, found it pretty good. Nothing amazing but did enjoy the story. Was going to get the second one but didn't realise it would be £50 so I'll hang on till it goes to about £20 like outcast was.

Skillup's review was pretty much bang on the money for me. It feels like a game with a load of development placeholders still in place that was rushed out of the door for... reasons.

The icing on the cake being a lack of 60FPS mode despite looking like something that could have been released on the 360/PS3 albeit at a lower resolution. I attempted to play it for around an hour last night and couldn't quite believe how bad it actually was. I kind of assumed it couldn't be that bad but then I got stuck on the stairs trying to get out of the first room on the ship. My character just kept trying to grab the ledge as you descend the stairs. The only solution was to walk down them backwards... Then we have the terrible AI (or lack thereof), completely bland and lifeless world, lack of enemy variety, disjointed cut scenes and NPC's that just talk at you and finally the ultimate cardinal sin of simply being utterly boring to play.

Bit of a mad interview with Phil Spencer on Kinda Funny. Has anybody else watched it?

Seen that. Pretty depressing when he seemingly doesn’t have confidence in his own product, and that it cannot compete with Nintendo/Sony

Here’s a tip.. spend some cash on your already owned studios, and put out some top tier triple A games.

The frame rate I can live with, yes 60 is nicer but not the end of the world.

The fact it's a buggy mess is more frustrating, it's the standard nowadays for anyone (who isn't Nintendo) to chuck out half finished games and then apologise. Like they hadn't noticed? Gimme a break.

Worse is the fact it's a boring, repetive slog. The devs knew this unless they haven't played their own game. Maybe part of the problem of having large teams is them working on parts of the game in isolation and not seeing how's it coming together. It was this crap 12 months ago but seemingly no one at the studio noticed or cared.

Don't care what he says anymore hes full of it. False promises from the start xbox has been a disaster this generation worlds fastest console has been trailing behind on almost every title released on frame rate. ill start using my series x when games actually run smooth until then ill use the PS5

He just sounds abit defeated.

Microsoft lack of new ip started in last couple years of 360 generation and its just gotten worse.

Halo and Forza are no longer system sellers especially as there on game pass.

Halo has gotten worse each new title 343 produced. Infinite multi player is a step up granted but its campaign was flat at best.

Gears I like but again it would never make me go buy a consol from them. I literally invested in Series S for game pass as its cheap main gaming is pc or ps5.

Microsoft golden era is still original xbox and early years of 360.

It amazes me that halo is still sold as the xbox game. It's old and out dated and imo rubbish.

Imagine PlayStation still trying to pretend lara croft is the game for PlayStation.

They need to get with the times and realise it just isn't a thing any more.

For xbox the only exclusive I can think of for years that has been worth a go is sea of thieves, which was fantastic and still is to anyone that hasn't played it yet.
