getting sick of Xbox pads and there ***** stick drift! I’ve got 3 pads in house 2 with really bad drift.

I’ve already had to buy 2 new ones in past for same thing.

Any one know of any 3rd party wireless ones that use them is it hall sticks so drift isn’t an issue?
Even the elites do it, if you pay over £100 for a controller it should have a permanent warranty for an issue that's been present for over 2 decades.

Mine has just died, looked around at alternative controllers and couldn't find a 3rd party wireless controller that ticked my boxes. Bought a Gamesir G7 HE, it's wired but has hall effect sticks, analogue triggers and micro switch face buttons. I love it, except the wire :D

There's rumours of a G7 Pro model that's wireless releasing, I'll be buying that when available.

I think that's a little beyond my soldering skills ;)

I wasn't even confident enough to fit a kit that added back buttons and hair triggers to a standard Xbox controller :D

Not for everybody but if you popped into my thread id be more than happy to fix up a series pad with halls and manual trim :) Then you get a pad that actually works long term :D

I thought the user name was familiar

Don't tempt me, I was just going to bin my controller.

I’ve got an elite v2 with failing L1/R1 bumpers and a dodgy A button.

I’d be interested to know what could be done with it!

I miss my Elite - been using standard Xbox pad and the sticks are so loose compared to my Elite. Bah humbug! :p

Common on the elite in fact i have about 20 elites series 2 here to fix... all similar issues... I also have stock on buttons, analogues (halls and normal) as well as anything else you may need to restore elite pads :)

Blurgh. Filled up my storage. I bought the 1TB expansion card earlier but now I'm thinking of selling it and getting the 2TB expansion card. Downloading 100GB+ games is painful.

Can I just get an external USB-C SSD and use it to store games on? I know you need to use the internal storage to run games but I imagine copying files is faster than downloading them.

I’m pretty sure it won’t allow you to install Xbox Series games on an external SSD so you won’t even get the option.

Black Friday is happening soon so hopefully the WD or Seagate expansion cards will go on sell.

You can, I’ve got a standard old usb external hard drive plugged into original series s model, I use it to keep games on when not playing em

Can be any game series s/x, one etc you just cannot play x/s games from it

Thank you all. That is useful to know.

My Elite 2 controller has broken and I'm not sure what to do.

The left thumbstick gets stuck in different positions such as pointing up and it doesn't go back to the neutral position. I got it on Amazon so I could send it for repair there or speak to Microsoft directly. What would you do?

Anyone else going to try Stalker 2 on their XSX tonight? I've already got the 140+GB preloaded and will give it a go in the evening after the launch time.

Definitely want to jump in but I've got an enormous backlog at the minute.

1. Call of Duty Black Ops 6 - Campaign halfway through and obviously multiplayer/zombies
2. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster - on the last case, need to wrap it up
3. Dredge - bought cheap after hearing great things about it
4. Death Stranding Directors Edition - £10 on Iceland store (still there now, no VPN needed!) need to start it
5. Kingdoms of Amalur ReReckoning - bought cheap via Argentina, always been intrigued by it
6. Disco Elysium - bought ages ago and not even started
7. Starfield Shattered Space - bought the deluxe upgrade before launch and need to jump back in with all the new updates and the new DLC
8. Stalker 2
