I find the load times on the One X fine - on my One they were a pain

Subnautica is painfully long, thankfully it's only really bad on the inital load.

You can't really compare 6tf from last gen to 4tf next gen.
Its already been confirmed that the series S will do everything the series X can, just at a lower resolution

I agree, it gives an indication of performance though, and like I said I'm more bothered about other benefits over resolution.

Be interested to see frame rate comparisons Series S Vs One X.

I personally think there might be some surprises but maybe wishful thinking as a One X owner

Really doubt there will be any surprises. CPU and storage will be far, far faster on Series S. RAM is likely faster. And the GPU isn't likely any worse. All that power is then set to be deployed for 1080p/1440p gaming, rather than 4K.

Series S is going to represent the same leap over current gen as Series X. It'll just be at a lower resolution.

Really interested to see now how Sony replies to this - that is some serious value with EA Play included, and gives a huge array of games to play on day 1.

I genuinely don't think I need the Xbox but with game pass and now EA play I'm starting to consider going back to it and have PC for upstairs play and Xbox in lounge

wok so doing the maths (badly) it costs me 19.99 a year for EA play and £10.99 for ultima. so across the year that's around £152 a year.

if I dump the ea play and take the £29 a month deal that was posted above that means the xbox would cost me an additional ... £196 a year or £16 a month over my current subscription... seems good.

You mean month not year?
