EA play costs me £19.99 a yearYou mean month not year?
Question is does the series x offer anything more for 1080p users than the series s apart from extra storage
Great price for the Series X as well really, thought it would be £500+

How would it work if you’ve already got GPU yet want to go the monthly payment route?
Would they tack it on regardless?
7 years is a long time to think you won't get a 4K TV though.
Can't you get a partial refund from Xbox subscription services? I'm sure I've been offered my money back when cancelling Game Pass on PC.
What a cracking deal that is!
As for the Series S what a pig ugly hunk of plastic that is, and I thought the PS5 looked bad.
Looking forward to the inevitable memes.
I would say that saving £17 and not having to pay out all that cash in one go can only be a good thing. It's not that good really.
£712 rougly if you were to buy it all sepately.
£695 doing the above.
£17 saving to take out credit and be tied into a payment plan for two years.
Not really no. A few pages back there was a post copied from reddit. It was from a developer l. Basically the series S will do exactly the same as the Series X but designed to output at 1440p. Yes it has less memory and a slightly lower rated GPU. But at 1440p it doesn't need the extra power required for 4k. Same goes for the storage. Games at 1440p could be up to 40% smaller due to the assets used for 1440p resolution. The console will download the correct version of the game using the smart delivery thing.Great price for the Series X as well really, thought it would be £500+

It is as you are likely to keep the console for more than 2 years and be paying for the gamepass and gold anyway. The main bonus is removing that upfront cost which otherwise would stop some people picking up the consoleIt's not that good really.
