What is the 100hz/60hz.. I have re-ordered a Pcbank super 27" will this be a 60hz ?? Will this be ok for general use and gaming. My current BenQ 22" is 60 hz but is a TN is it different for IPS panels.....

All I wan't is the same as what I have but bigger and better pic not worried about 3D or overclocking etc...

:confused::confused::confused::confused:

At 120hz it will appear smoother as the refreshes more times per second than at 60hz.

I am sure you will be happy with a 60hz panel, most people would be!

Shipped Wednesday night got the Glasgow this morning! Got a text at 9:14 to say stopped and I had to pay a fee (£13 :) ), paid within a minute but it won't go out till Monday cause of the fee, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

ok, quickly set it up at lunch time

I ended up with the non glass model (which I wanted) and by the looks of the serial number it's a 2C (at least that's what's in the middle of the long number). Mine was ordered from bigcloth and decided to take a gamble on a catleap without the pixel check

Fired it up, WOW. It's HUGE! Quality is simply stunning, VERY rich and vibrant colours. Nice even uniformity across the entire panel. Bleed is ok I think, by that I mean that because it's so big if you sit dead centre the edges seem lighter, but when you move your head across to the edge so you're in the centre with the edge it's perfect black.

Unfortunately two little niggles

1. One dead pixel, off centre. Not really that bothered since I paid so little. It's lit green so anything black really shows it up. White background completly hides it
2. The monitor doesn't sit level with the stand, the right side is sitting lower than the left. Will have a look at the stand tonight but I think I'm going to have to wedge some cardboard under one side to level it up.

Perhaps this panel was rejected by a previous customer unhappy with the one dead pixel. I did wonder where they went, so perhaps it's factories like these who sell them on

HOWEVER......I only paid £215 all in lol RESULT! Well Happy

Hey Glen,

Just set up mine also and was testing it ...
Bought from same seller and funny enough paid same in charges as you (maybe ours came together cept Im in london).
I didnt see any dead pixels in mine. Although the screen looks quite bright or muted or something ... going to have to figure out how to mess with the color and brightness.

Wondering if one can OC something other then a 2B model and/or get a new board for it.

ya I find the stand a bit wobbley (especially how I have mine (on some boxes on my desk)) - but overall I Really like the stand.

Ive used a matte lcd forever and this monitor will take time getting used too; I almost miss my old one here. This monitor reminds me of a high def TV. Where my monitor reminds me of a monitor.

1) If the pixel is green then it is stuck, not dead. A dead pixel will be black. Try massaging it, they can often be brought back. :)

2) My stand isn't level either, I just rested one side on my keyboard cable. The keyboard cable goes to the back of the desk anyway so I just slid it under one side of the stand. Now it's perfectly level :)

Its funny but the stand is the thing I like most about my monitor - I do have it wierdly balanced on some boxes thou (got to be ergonomic :)

Still not used to this glossy screen; I figured out that I like the screen in movies/games/ but websites and documents I like my old TN matte ... maybe I should hook em both up (then I need a new desk) ... ho hum

I Have now received my money back after RMA'ing my LG D2342P because it was rubbish (think I will leave passive 3D monitors alone). I am very interested in a catleap from bigcloth but i would like to clear some things up before I 'take the plunge'.

1) Do you have to request that the seller puts down a lower price and/or gift on the invoice to try and not get hammered on the import duty (or does he do it automatically)?

2) Does any one have much backlight bleed?

3) How are these catleaps for FPS games - much input lag / response times bad? My current monitor is a 23" LG e-IPS (not to be confused with E-IPS) and is supposed to be 6ms but it is probably a bit more than that in real life. If the catleap has similar response time then i can live with that.

Come on guys talk me out of it. :D

I finally got my Achieva Q270 Lite, costed me £215 didn't have no pay custom fee.

There's 2 dead pixels in the top left corner, hardly noticeable.

The monitor can only oc to 67hz, can't complain for £215 :) I paid £180 for my Dell U2311h 6 months ago.

I'm well over the moon, can't wait to fire up BF3 late tongiht.
