Depends on the ram that you have installed. If it's low profile it should be ok.
What ram and case are you using ?

I ment the 2 heatsinks ubove and to the left of cpu,, I havent bought the memory yet, but I'll be buying some low profile ram, as memory with fins are a bit pointless anyhow.

Shouldn't be a problem, i have the Titan Fenrir Evo CPU Cooler and it fits fine.

yes i have it installed with two 140mm deepcools and cnt find the ty 140,s for sale

Anyone mind explaining to me the difference between the gen 3 and the original version? I'm wondering if it's worth to spend the extra (assuming that I have no wish to upgrade to Ivy)?

I've just purchased the Extreme'3' Gen 3.. similar features, but slightly different looks e.g. the heatsinks look better IMHO.

I think Exteme4 Gen3 has better onboard LAN ie Broadcom which IMHO is better then the Realtek on Extreme3.

Ordering one of these tonight - I assume an Akasa Venom cooler will fit it, it's currently cooling a failing Gigabyte P67 Motherboard that's been discontinued, and I threw the box so can't be bothered to RMA and get packaging, plus this is sexy.
