*** Zelda: Breath of the Wild ***

Played all morning then we went out so I took it with me and played in the car, got back for another go and here I am nearly 4 hours later. Battery life in hand held was really decent. I couldn't play solidly in my tablet for that long and still have 50% battery. Anyway this game just has everything. Just been riding around climbing towers and doing shrines.

The blood moon thing was amazing.

I caught glance of a loading screen tip on weapon durability, but it loaded before I could read it all.

Has anyone caught this? Terrified to google it in case I get more than I want!

There's a shrine in kakariko village that teaches you all the Attacks and dodges.

While locked on you press backwards and jump and you'll backflip. Sideways to side hop.

Also. How many koroks have people found ? I've found about 6! It's great picking up a rock/etc and one jumps out ! The first one I found was a shrub disappearing every time I walked up to it. Before that I never knew they existed !

They are sneaky ! I found one on an island in the middle of a lake under a rock. It was great :D

Edit. They remind me of the leaf people from wind waker !

I dunno how some people find this easy. It's by far the hardest Zelda I've played in terms of combat.
Normal mob camps can easily haze me if I'm not paying attention. There are blue lizards that take 5 hearts without a shield.
I'm fighting a boss right now and it feels like Dark Souls level of futility.
Testing out dodging is hard when you get one-shotted if you miss, not to mention perfect shield defenses. I've burned through a full rack of shields on one mob trying to test it.

That's the beauty of the game I guess, that is a true open world as opposed to a more linear where your character build it up through dungeons.

Likewise. Climbing central tower in hyrule field was a complete nightmare. Kept getting one shotted by those laser robots. And while climbing they are not easy to avoid ! Still. Love it :D

It is harder than we're used to but I don't mind. If you're getting one shifted at 5 hearts you probably shouldn't be there :)

Not sure which of the 4 routes to take:

I'm doing Zora. There was a guy in hateno who said that 2 were more dangerous than the others. Seems to me that its 50-50 with zora and the other

That was fun. Gotta use the jump button to get to the next platform asap to lose LoS :D

Oh, THAT tower! It's the first one off the plateau I went to as well. Even galloping on a horse they spotted me, had to go way round then died loads climbing up. Until I discovered you can leap and grab whilst climbing!
