Well it's free and is a good test. It doesn't use SLI at all.

Here are some results

9 Series Titan X @ 1216/7012
i7-5930K @ 4.4GHz
Driver 411.70

2080Ti 1935/7000
i7-5930K @ 4.4GHz
Driver 411.70

A 95% increase to the frame rate.

Forza seems super well optimised and 4K ultra is a breeze even on a 2080/1080Ti. 2080Ti is overkill unless you have a 144hz 4K monitor.

On the absolute max settings (see above) and with MSAA x4 (which is what the Xbox One X has) it gets 74fps average and 66 minimum

Not really overkill if you want a locked 4k/60hz

And this is Forza Horizon 4, not Forza 7 (which is a lot less taxing)

Yeah, but you're paying nearly twice as much for those extra few frames. Value must be considered... unless money is truly no object.

2080 does great in quite a few games at 4K, but yes, it will depend what you play, but as I say above, the value factor must be considered unless you simply don't care about such frivolous things.

I repaired the zip file in the latest version of WinRAR, seems to have flashed ok. Able to maintain 2100 @ 1.065v - need more, though

Well, finally finished resolving the stripped out old build for my temp rig. Ended up buying the cheap monsoon pump housing to remove the old kit and focus on building the new one for a while. Massively empty but still used copper as a last outing

Oh and these fell in there

More to follow but will probably move it over to a build log next week to show how I’ve already taken a drill to my 1000D

Time to bench on air, I will not be putting the blocks on until they go in the new rig (even if they are staring at me right now!)

Awesome, I will do. Expecting to do my custom loop around March (too busy until then) will be doing another rig for my wife too although hers will likely be pink/rgb (for her twitch stream).

Have any of you tried to play SoTomb Raider with an OC?

I can run Timespy and the benchmark in the game fine.

Go to play the game with an actual OC and it crashes with a dx error!

I am on the Dual OC Asus 2080ti
