@howkey I've just found out that the current version of Trixx DOES NOT work on the 5700's. It's still in beta and this is what they gave to reviewers. Doesn't seem to be any date when it's going to be released.
Just installed my Pulse 5700XT and with everything at stock in wattman it's about 15-20% faster than my Vega 64 which is where I expected it to be. TBH I'm happy with that and I might leave the tinkering until at least next week. What I have got is a very quiet card when under load with the following peak measurements;
GPU - 2001 Mhz
Memory - 875 Mhz
Temp - 67c
Fan - 1625
Junction - 88c
Power - 199w

I think it was, but it was always a card in no mans land, laughable rtx performance, and not enough of a reason to upgrade over a 1060. Then they brought out the 1660 and 1660ti which left it further out in the wilderness. Vs a 56 is was never a good pick, and now against the 5700 and 2060 super, mad feels to anyone who bought one, again the fishy ladder strikes and they picked the wrong rung to step on.
Looks like OCUK has jacked up the prices once again on the 5700XT across the board, even more gouging and they were gouging already lol.
I guess they are wondering how much of a premium people will pay for a £370 card.
And please don't try to justify it with /exchange rate, the £500 cards have stayed at £500, all the cards under £500 have risen by another £20-25 today.

With only 4 other cards on the market that are better and 2 of them are maybe on average 5% better, there isn't really any debate, it must be high end
. The price however is a completely different story.

Here's my 5700XT Sapphire pulse for TROH. Arrived and installed yesterday and I'm really liking it even though I've not tweaked anything. It's silent at idle and I can't hear anything whilst gaming. It's about 15-20% more performance than my reference Vega 64 which is where I thought it would be. Happy chappy.

No idea why it is designated as "B-Grade" though.
The reference 5700XT from PowerColor and Sapphire are still £379.99 and only the "big-name" reference cards are above that (for some truly bizarre reason; all they do is change the sticker on the fan, right?).

Compared to the CPUs I've not come across too many posts about potentially defective GPUs having been sent back, so I figure that is probably a nice buy for someone.
