As the issue (FPS drops to single digits) only happened on the 3080, and not the much slower 3060, I guess that confirms the cause is lack of VRAM on the 3080 as we have cited all along as no other GPUs are affected. ReBar on Nvidia appears to use more VRAM, perhaps...
Now you can make an argument to disable it and if that fixes the FPS drops, bad frame times and image issues I agree we can close the case.

Sorry just seen this post a few days later.
I agree with LTMatt 100% I have not read all the post in this thread and just went through the post I quoted.
My RTX 3080 can not run this game at 4K Ultra settings and HD Textures on,10 GB is not enough, hell even without HD Textures on still runs bad at times on 4K Ultra settings. My RTX 3080 will get down to single digit FPS even with Rebar disabled at 4K with Hd Textures. The game runs really bad on the RTX 3080,the game was fun for awhile but with all the problems,I will not be finishing the game.
I have tested the game on 3 different computers with RTX 3080. I played 42+ hours and uploaded 51 Far Cry 6 Videos to youtube on the three different computers.
Computers I used were all Intel and Nvidia. 10850K build and two 12900K builds.
I checked out the game today a couple days ago for missing textures,I did not find any but I did find on the DLC Vass the game still has problems with missing shadows, flickering shadow and stuff just disappearing.
I do not have problems on any other PC Games and when I play at lower than 4K resolutions I do not have crashes or bad frametimes etc, just my two cents.
Video bad FPS and crash to desktop even with HD Textures off. I also could be 100% wrong and it is not the RTX 3080
