Forza 5, look at the road surface, especially when its reflective, horrible graphics corruption, there is a little of it with some of the distant LOD bushes on the side of the road too.

Have to tun the texture quality to medium to stop it doing that and if i ignore its for a couple of hours i get an "Out of Video Memory" warring from the game.

Maybe runs games with a lot of mods or thought an un SLIable 10+10gb would enable FC6 HD pack to run on 10Gb GPUs??? :confused:

Will have to wait and see what the price performance looks like on the newer cards but I'd still be happy to sit on the 3080 for another 2 years if nvidia and AMD tried taking the ****.

Well, we are definitely going to need a is 12GB enough thread since FC6 recommends 16GB for optimal performance at 4K. 12GB on cards around the 6750XT/3070 performance level seems like a decent amount tbh.

Seems a bit pointless making a thread for just one game but who knows maybe you'll be able to add farcry 7 to it one day.

My main games have all been delayed to 2023 and 2024 now, that and with how far the lower presets of dlss have come (dlss balanced and performance are far more usable), it will help longevity wise for those intensive titles and RT.

I have done some tests in msfs vr using my 3080 fe and whilst the memory tops out, the real problem is the damn things processing power, its hopeless.

So the card runs out of grunt before vram? No surprise there then. That is the case most of the time.
