Alien: Isolation...

One thing that would make the game even more immersive is if they added mic functionality, Imagine going around the place and then suddenly you sneeze and the alien hears you haha :p

Just a thought, Would be awesome I think :)

Also shame that the AA in this games sucks, would have been nice if they gave the option for full screen AA instead of this cheap post processing stuff :(

It's like that on Xbox one with kinect. Have to stay quiet when hiding.

hmm maybe ill try again, if you just have to alt tab once per session? or each screen?

If the in-game computer terminals are showing a blank screen once you have interacted with them (same with rewires) then Alt+Enter to run the game in windowed mode and the display should appear.

Edit: I just realised I said Alt+Tab tthe first time. Oops. I meant Alt+Enter.

Yeah I also ment alt + enter.. They is another work around and that is forcing the game crossfire into AFR friendly mode.. This worked very well for me..

I did mention a while back it give me game issue now and then. But it turns out this wasn't the case.

One my GPUs has been sent back because of performance issues like driver crashing and gaming stutters. Waiting on replacement.

So try AFR

shankly does AFR sort the terminals thing then? Could you give me a quick run through - got another tri-x coming and wanted it for this game for some VSR action

Yeah, open ccc once new gpu installed. Go to applications and add new and select the alien.exe now under crossfire mode select AFR friendly and now test game..

Crossfire should be running and the bug should also be gone.
Do note if you run into any graphics glitches or anything else it could be this not all game play nice.

My issue was hardware problem and for ages I blamed AFR friendly on alien..

Whats this game like for someone who has never showed an interest in the movies?

I love horror games / space settings

good price on steam atm so i am tempted

Thanks

Watch Alien & Aliens on as good a source as you can manage then play this. You are missing out if you don't know the back story or how ****** terrifying the alien is.

Still very enjoyable. I'm familiar with the movies to an extent but never had a huge interest with them, but the storyline is still relatively simple to follow and you'll likely still appreciate how well they replicated the 'style' and aesthetic of the films in the game.

I completed this a few weeks ago, it's a brilliant game will probably play it through again but omg.....

then ending is soooo disappointing
