This mod makes Alien Isolation more realistic and horror-based. Changes include an update to the alien's behavior that I have perfected, as well as weapon changes and a slightly shorter hack tool timewww.nexusmods.com
Enhanced Graphics
This mod enables additional settings in the graphics menu, without replacing any original settings. I deliberately did not change structure of the settings code, did not remove unnecessary or hardware

The better graphics just adds extra options to graphic settings in game.
You can get reshade profiles from Nexusmods too, very easy to install.

Yeh, just drop the extracted files into DATA and overwrite.
Planar reflections now give you an RTX option, that can't be right, Shirley!

Yea Alien isolation is a great game.
vkbasalt is the Linux equivalent to reshade, will use the Reshade Fx shaders too . Personally not tried it though.

Just found out the Mother VR mod does not work under Windows 11 and Steam VR. ******* ******** ********

How so? Everything works in Windows. No headaches trying to get stuff running. Every game every launcher. Even the basic rudimentary tasks are a PITA in Linux. There's a reason it hasn't hit the mainstream market, ever. It sucks massive donkey ****!Unlucky

should really get back to this, think i got to the eight mission got the flamethrower and must have got stuck somewhere, but it is a great game !!

From what I've read about the deck it does just work for the most people so Valves OS must be something reasonable I would assume.

Steam OS is not too bad but it's quite buggy. They are improving though.

I've got a 512GB A2 U3 Samsung Evo SD card so no sure why it's happening then
