Alien: Isolation...

Re-playing game as it was so good.

Something new happened at reactor!

I had two aliens attack me at the same time in the nest, then three stomping around when at the Beta core!. WTF, I thought there was only ever meant to be one until the end of the game!! Missed the screen shots as I was bricking it.

Just finished the game last night, and I'm still amazed how much I loved this. Shadow Of Mordor may be my surprise of the year but this could well be my game of the year.

Never played a game with this much atmosphere or tension. Somehow even during the quieter missions the game did a great job of convincing me that a gruesome death lurked right round the next corner. Really nothing I can fault about this at all. Also looks pretty stunning too.

I can see how it could be an acquired taste but I wouldn't hesitate recommending this to anyone.

i have this installed but havn't had the time, does any one know if there are any plans for occulus support once the consumer version is out?
Back of my mind i keep thinking it might be worth to save the experience for the rift?

Someone mentioned couple of pages back that it works on the oculus dev kit so I dont see why the consumer version wont support it

Taken me a month and only gotten up to the part where I am looking for health kit for friends.

How far am I?

Stupid work means no time for anything I enjoy these days...

It works, but it's a hack. Clearly something they've been working on and abandoned. It's about 90% complete, there are a few bugs.

It's possible they'll clean it all up for the Rift CV1 Release in a year's time. Oculus can use good content to hype up their device on release, Possibly throw them a few coins to encourage their support. A.I. is just made for the VR.

Who knows nowadays. Game development and their backroom deals are less than straight forward. If Sony or Microsoft step in and had a VR headset for their consoles (which they don't have, luckily), they would more likely muscle in to get an exclusivity. It's SEGA after all that holds the cards, not the developers.

Or they might just not bother, and you'll be left with the current hacks and state of the game (Which BTW is seriously good already).

Cool, didnt know that it was a workaround / unofficial. From the videos that I have watched I really thought it was properly supported.

Just read a review of this, it sounds amazing. Seems to be scoring 93% in reviewsa nd sounds great. Just started reading this thread now, is it really that good? Very interested.

Just remember this is not a traditional run and gun fps.

It's about patience, avoiding detection and playing cat and mouse.

The ingame atmosphere is awesome, only play it at night with the lights off and headphones on for the full effect.

GOTY for me.

This sounds absolutely brilliant. Must have slipped in under the radar, I never heard of the game before but it sounds great. I prefer stealth to run and gun. Been searching for a great stealth game since replaying Deus Ex HR (again). Couldn't find anything good enough. I think this just might be the one.

If anyone is interested. Getgamesgo is selling the Steam standard edition for £12.79. I just bought it and was wondering whether the season pass includes the DLC, the last survivor and crew expendable? If not, I'll just buy them separately off Steam.

60% off £12.79.

It does not, it includes Corporate Lockdown which is the first of four planned DLCs I believe.
