This one though show the speed about rite..? Anyone know what gives...
The Corsair F60 is a Sandforce based drive like the Vertex 2. This controller uses real time compression before it writes data. AS-SSD uses random data that isn't easily compressed, so it shows the worst case speeds. ATTO uses patterned data that is easily compressed, so it shows best case speeds. Real world performance is somewhere in the middle.
This is my brand new 120GB GSKILL Phoenix 210GB (not sure if they are around the UK, picked it up in Aus).
