Assassin's Creed Odyssey

I've got a Legendary weapon with 20% sparta kick damage, definitely my favourite now.

I'm doing the same as Origins, not selling a THING. Everything gets upgraded with me, no matter how low level.

Was debating weather to buy this or wait, not played a AC game since black flag........ wonder how it perform with 980 ti at 1440

It is harder on the system the odyssy, but make some tweaks and you will get a nice balance of FPS and settings. Few settings really cripple the FPS for little visual gain in the game.

What do the CPU and GPU numbers represent in the benchmark? Is that how long each took on average to render a frame? Actually very happy with performance just curious!

Pretty much. To get 30 FPS a frame needs to render in 33.33 ms for example. To get 60 FPS it needs to be 16.67 FPS and so on. The CPU and GPU frame time is a nice way to show how long the frames took, but also highlight where the limitation may actually be (CPU or GPU).

Now that's Kewl.

Legendary armour when you where 5 pieces also grants a bonus, 50% Adrenaline regeneration when dodging for Peguses Armour. Sounds like each Legendary weapon carries its own perk without need for set. Can envisage some powerful combinations here. Upgrading these items to keep pace with levels though is soooo expensive!

One day we'll reach a point where MMOs look like this...and then I will never leave my PC :D

Thanks - I get about 23ms for both - assuming that the bench runs the same settings as the game (not certain about that) then all is good.

Just about to buy this but wonder what cloud save is like?
I have a new PC on the way in 7-10 days , was going to hold off until then but fancy playing now on existing pc and continuing on with new rig.

Works fine. I alternate between my main pc and one in living room and game seamlessly picks up on saves within few seconds from cloud.

Great thanks for that , just have my order on GMG ready to checkout but was waiting for someone to confirm :)
€49.19 on GMG.

Quick question if i start on nightmare difficulty with exploration mode can i change it down the road if its just frustratingly tough?

Welp, I caved. It's 0330 here, just finished the first hour. Not even started the first mission (getting to the vineyard). Just explored, did some side missions.

You guys were right, I was dumb for listen to the ramblings of redditers and bad reviewers. This game is amazing so far.

I'm running everything max (AA set to medium down from high) at 1440p, solid 60fps. 8700k @ 4.5Ghz, 16GB ram, EVGA 1080ti FTW edition. I did a benchmark and it put me at 80fps avg

Roll the credits :D

:D

Have to admit, wasn’t sure about this since I loved Egypt. Holy moly though, it is fantastic. It feels like black flag, origins and the Witcher - not complaining about that! Easily 100 hours of content, probably more because I can’t stop going to every question mark.

Game looks good but am I not the only one who thinks it looks like it should be a DLC pack for origins, even a lot of the buildings etc. look the exact same as origins :/
