Sent my board back on Monday (which they received the next day) and have just received a reply after asking for a tracking number. They've supplied one but have said I won't receive the new board until Tuesday

gah ffs, i just phoned them, 7-10 day turnaround, thats me fooked over easter , guess i'll have to go sit in back garden for 4 days.

hmm i'm so deperate i might buy another mobo and sell the one i get off asus.

Picked up Monday and received today (Thursday) at 11 in the morning.

Pretty much the same experience as others, just sent the board in the original box and got sent the B3 revision with all cables, manual e.t.c.

Up and running already and all looks ok so far :)

For anyone who wants to check if they are due for a delivery today, the quickest way is to telephone Asus UK on 01442 202 700, and ask to speak to someone on the Sandy Bridge motherboard replacement team.

They should be able to give you a UPS tracking number which you can enter into ups.com to find out the status of your replacement board.

Ive rang this number just now and spoke to a foreign person who said there is no department for the SB replacement program

She said all she could do was give me the SB web address, sigh why are things so hard on the phone sometimes.

Im off work for 10 days now so im hoping it will arrive by then

I spoke to a foreign person (guy) and he put me through to the sandy bridge replacement people righ away, try asking for Jay Parmar when i spoke to him he said he
recognised my name and said a email would be sent with tracking detail`s out 5 mins after the call and it was.

I'll wait until after the holidays to send mine back, will have to buy another board in the meantime, can't afford any downtime, think i will go for the MSI GD65 or the GD80. (will sell the replacement Asus board when i get it back, am finished with Asus)

My only problem, will i have to do a complete reinstall or can i just uninstall all the existing motherboard drivers, connect up the existing h/d on the new board & then install the new drivers, is it that simple ?

I have all my work programs (over 120gb) installed & it would be a real pain to have to install them all again, i spent the best part of 2 days installing them the first time.
