I sent my board back on Monday and as of yet it's still a no show.

I've emailed ASUS asking for an ETA but still no reply from them to when my board will be here. I think it was a guy called Jay who was dealing with it.

I wouldn't mind otherwise but I have assignments due in soon and my other machine has a HDD fault so I don't trust it with any of my work.

Here's to hoping it'll be here Tuesday otherwise I'm going to get very behind.

I rang UPS Monday morning at 9am, they were at my place of work to collect for 11am. I received my replacement board yesterday (Thursday) at around mid day.

A day longer then i was hoping but back before the long weekend so im happy.

I stuck my old overclock settings right in and fired it up, left prime running overnight, seems its just as stable so im happy.

I spoke to a foreign person (guy) and he put me through to the sandy bridge replacement people righ away, try asking for Jay Parmar when i spoke to him he said he recognised my name and said a email would be sent with tracking detail`s out 5 mins after the call and it was.

I didn't want to quote his name on here earlier, as he had personally asked me not to do so, but he is the person to ask for, and the one who was extremely helpful to me.

Sorry to hear that some boards are now being delayed, as that was not their original intention, but it does sound as if they are currently receiving more than they can comfortably handle, and they are not therefore being sent out the same day, which is not good news.

Aye in this weather a cold one is always wellcome :)
My board is sitting in a UPS depo about 20mins drive from me gutted.

If you are desperate for it couldn't you drive there with say three forms of identification and pick it up that way?
Don't know for sure if they would let you have it but don't see why not and on a Saturday i would think there would be people there.

Really feel for the guys that never got their board back. I got mine back on Thursday (sent Monday) but i was not in a rush for it as i have another fast quad and dual core within arms reach from where i sit.

And as for the cold one, most definitely. Asus can get them in :)

Im gonna call tomorrow to find out whats going on with mine, they said they have a pretty large backlog so hopefully theyre just checking to see if the boards in the box and sending out the new board.

I got my label unexpectedly (no emails since the very first after registering) but will wait until the bank holidays are over before sending it. I don't want to be without it over a long weekend!
