this is awesome i dont need to open any of the new accessories, just imagine when i come to sell it...retail box zero accessories opened all tight in plastic bags, should get me a few extra quid, or at least be the favourite for buyers amongst the others

Have just got my B3 Deluxe delivered even though UPS sent it to my old address as i have recently moved last month.

I have also had a Coolermaster HAF X case delivered,so now i have decide if im keeping my Sabertooth B3 or the B3 Deluxe?:)

A few members were talking about hanging onto their B2 boards until the new Z68 boards get released then part exchanging them for those boards....

Did anything come of that? Has Asus commented on that officially being an option etc?

Just curious, obviously the Z68 boards aren't out yet but it's only a couple of weeks before they are, what's the plan?

I've not heard anything about that since asus announced the swap program, it was all hopes and guesses without any substance.

The only option would be to sell your unopened B3 board and buy a Z68.

Would you risk a Day 1 Z68 board after this palava?

Ok it's probably not going to be as significant as this Intel cockup, but there will presumably still be teething issues in early boards?

yup, if any thing ide have more confidence in a day 1 Z68 board after all this palava, the mobo manufacturers will be doubley wary of another balls up, so i imagine the testing will have been even more stringent as a result.

Hmmmmm...Good point. :o

I would assume (maybe not a good thing todo givin how generally Asus is the worst of the mobo manufacturers insofar as Sandybridge issues) they would have ironed out the flaws on the hardware level by then.

Got a while to decide yet anyways. :)

I tend to look upon Asus in a similar vein as I do Microsoft.

They may not get something right the first time, but they will usually spend time and money on it until they do.

In the case of Sandy Bridge motherboards, I am sure the problems are nothng that a few BIOS updates won't fix... I certainly hope that will be the case anyway!:)

I also think that despite the problems they have been overblown. Asus are the biggest MB manufacturer and people are much more likely to post on here if they have issues. Personally I've had no problems and I'm sure there are plenty of other happy Asus P67 customers too.

ME TO... i new when buying b2 deluxe id have to send back and to be honest asus have been first class with me, i also new that id have to get to know a new chipset 1155 and processor. now ive got my b3 deluxe and all is good nice1 asus......

Got to agree with you m8
My P67 Pro's been rock solid all the way.
It seems like the majority of folks have gone for Asus P67 boards, hence there's more griping about em on forums etc than other mobo manufacturers.
Speculation of coarse but here's a bit of an insight on Futuremarks Most Popular
Motherboards chart.

Ok I would like to get a z68 board; as I have a spare 64gb ssd now I've upgraded to Vertex 3. What zboards are they releasing? Ie would there be a deluxe equiv?
