Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Why are they making it look as if superman is exerting some sort of effort in some scenes? The one that sticks out in the trailer is the one where he's lowering the part of the rocket, if you look at his face its if he's under some kind of strain. Not quite as bad as man of steel and the screaming part at the oil rig but still....in other movie's he's moved the moon and an island of kryptonite, but a rocket section and an oil derrick is strenuous now?

Maybe he's holding in a fart...those things have got to be super dangerous around flames! :D

Regards the island of Kryptonite, even with Superman Returns there were inconsistencies. As you say, he managed to lift an entire island into orbit whilst suffering from the effects of Kryptonite, yet was showing signs of strain whilst lifting the section of ship out of the water earlier on.

So, Snyder and co. decided that MoS was going to be Kryptonite free because Kal-El had other super powered beings to have a huge punch up with, so no need to mention the old green macguffin at all. Forward to BvS, and the macguffin is rather conveniently wheeled out again just so they can have Batman fight him, and use the title Batman V Superman. *sigh*

They should have gone with Kryptonite V Superman: Dawn of Convenience.

We're not sure how it's going to tie in with the movie yet. And I doubt it'll be batman that uses it, he has the suit. And in the trailer lex is in possession of it.

They'll probably have him weakened by the combined might of all the other heroes....and kryptonite. Because straight up one on one with batman, supes could just stand there.

I mean, I hope they have a decent reason instead of "suddenly putting a human in armour makes him capable to fight a kryptonian".

In Dark Knight Returns, the older Bruce Wayne says he spent a fortune and years synthesizing Kryptonite, so when he's at the point of fighting with Superman (pounding on him but not really getting anywhere), he hits him with the Kryptonite, and all of a sudden Batman's in a position to kill Superman.

So I think the movie might be making Kryptonite a very rare thing that is something special from Batman's box of tricks to enable him to take down the most powerful being on the planet.

Well Supes had taken the force of a Nuke in the past day or so, that plus the kryptonite gas cloud made him considerably weaker.

**** yes to the trailer though, looks awesome. Some pretty cool little easter eggs in there too. All 3 (4 if Aquaman shows up) vs Doomsday as the finale, ****ing epic.

Indeed, I still think it'll come form the gas cloud, the cloud that was changing the planet, they'll refine it out of that gas, and concentrate it, and I think Lex has spent billions doing just this.
So now he has a lump of rock that has an effect.

Agreed, it's annoying that!

This movie is looking more and more garbage with every trailer.

Batman goes iron man to take on superman. : sigh:

Snyder's visual fidelity and mise en scène are outstanding, but he is a limited filmmaker.

He got it right with Watchmen and I hope he gets it right this time.
